  • ^^ thanks yamdoot.. @ kartik, im sure these might be available locally, but one cylinder already running on one bike is evidence enough for me to trust them. Also there is a slight difference.

The parts that i have ordered are as per the 2002 model RX-K spec. Not the 2008 model, which was 18 bhp. And the ports are ditto that of the indian 14.5 bhp block, spec for spec.

One more thing. Its 18 bhp due to a slight expansion chamber like effect in the exhaust. So unless you get the exhaust with the block, its not gonna give out that power.

What would be the issue with the IZUMI piston???

    • JD.. the Izumi piston is not of the same quality that we want.. dont mind but looking at the quality Indian make pistons look better.

P.S- why didnt you go for the 18 bhp one??

      • ^^ i got a lot of questions for that. I just dint want any issues with parts mis match or anything. And later on i got to know that the 18bhp block wouldve been a direct fit as well. So yeah i think i went a lil too head strong on that, and ordered from the older model parts kit.

The OE RXZ headlight glass holding in your hand, I could actually see 'JAPAN' embossed at the bottom.

                  • When i had this issue in my bullet, the rectifier had gone for a toss. So maybe you might need to replace that.

I got a call from my supplier today saying that the YMIS has started billing on the cylinder kits. This means, he should be getting the cylinder in a day or two. Can anyone help me cross check this with your respective supplier/dealers in your city pls? Tks.

And yes there is JAPAN embossed at the bottom. All the parts of the headlight assy, even the rubber gasket are all made in Japan. The quality and finishing is mind blowing!

Heheheee... Seriously Ganesh the tank and panels are amazing

I have also confirmed from YMIS that as of now only "RX100" cylinder kits will be available in a month or two and they have also started taking orders. The dealers/suppliers will have to place an order and it will be delivered within a months time. They will be costing approx Rs.9,000. I am seriosly waiting for 4 - 5 Speed cylinder kits but wonder how much would be the price
