@ karthikdattag: Plz tell me which bore kit I am suppose to import from malaysia for my 5 speed RXZ. You told importing cylinder kit alone will not solve the issue. What after replacing cylinder kit? What all things should i get from malaysia for changing the full bore components? Please do list it out with its specifications sir, it will be a great favor for me.

^^ Depends on what your budget is. Whether you wanna rebuild the entire engine with imported components, or just the basic. Check out my thread in my signature.

have you asked team carbon for motul 800 , a friend of mine bought some from chennai 2 weeks back ,its extremely expensive but worth every penny

friends, I was busy in collecting few more parts for my RX....me thinking of starting a separate thread here, so that I can post the updates there and get clarification for my doubts there....here I'm listing some of the parts which I have got recently...will post more details in new thread which Im going to start...

1) Oil tank meter lens
2) New pricol oil pump
3) Front chrome fender( suggested by Ram, Nitesh and Bigbore )
4) Butterfly crash guard (not yamaha genuine part, only 135's small size crash guards are available now. so I purchased this one from another shop. It has gt the original looks of the one which I had seen in my bike's owners manual)
5) Engine head and block full rubber kit ( suggestion by Nitesh)
6) Full gasket set for RX100 (Just kinda into my collection of parts, gt plans to stock more parts for my bike step by step)
7)Front mudguard flaps (2)
8)Front head light setup from Hella,for 90/100 light setup ( From Nitesh, Thanks a lot Nitesh for the your great help)
9)Flosser 90/100 halogen bulb ( From Nitesh, thanks again)

No I did'nt ask them.Their shop at palarivattom seems to be closed for a last 2 or 3 weeks.....just went to their workshop last week with 90/100 light setup queries, and they told 90/100 kit for RX100 from RD Dreams is not at all available now.

Will have a visit to their workshop tomorrow for Motul 800....
Anyway, r you visiting Ernakulam in near future? if yes give me a buzz.. we will meet..

^^ Then you can do just that much. New piston, rings, and bore. Thats all.

Arun, if the intent is travelling between point "A" to point "B" on a 2-stroke then do as JD has suggested. If you are a performance freak, then, only change in cylinder kit will not do the job.

Just FYI, there were two version of RX-King bores:

1. 4Y201 - 18BHP (Approx)....... Very very difficult to find.
2. 3KA - 14BHP (Approx)...... Easily available in India itself.

If you choose the 2nd option, then you dont need to do anything with bottom end of engine. To get option 2, you don't need to goto Malaysia, original stuff is available very much in B'lore. One more thing, the 3KA bore doesn't come with "ART" piston, but our Indian 4TL00, 4TL10 & Imported 4Y201 bores did come with "ART" piston.

Its your call mate. And another tip, for original "4Y2" RX-King parts try Singapore, not Malaysia.

Yes it can be done. But you will need to find the original STD size 4Y201 "ART" piston kit first.

I was in KL last year & all i could find was some local after market stuff for RX-King, but there are plenty of spares for RX-Z 6-Speed (which was still in production back then). As i had severe constraint of time could not visit S'pore.

Tell me one thing, what is wrong with Indian 135 bores? Why are you so particular about these imported bores?

I am using our normal Indian bore & i am running a stage 3+ ported setup on both my bikes!!!!!! But yes, my bottom end of engine is full of imported stuffs. Even the tyres on my Green 5-Speeder were imported from S'pore.
