    Good stuff Vishwas! All the info put up is really useful for us..

    But, just one thing is worrying me..how big are the rooms for which the cost is 1200/1300 per night..!!??

      @Spidey, Inder, Can you modify the plan to accomodate a night halt @ Delhi (for Inder+2 to catch up)
      So we dont really need a day @ Manali as per plan (which I am sure we will still do considering we have a buffer day and now no worries of the permit)

        @Satyen: I haven't been to Leh yet, so, I cannot really help minutely. Perhaps, Kurt, dcs and B2L would be the apt people to look at that itinerary and reply. Looks good to me, though.

            There are a lot of options right besides Dal lake incase you for some reason do not get Shikaras. And they are very cheap.

                not to be a spoilsport here but i feel that different people will be travelling at different time

                so please make a confirmed list of groups.

                as per me biru will be shifting dates as he has some leaves problems.

                be sure b4 riding out about these things too.

                for my part I am 100% out ffor the above dates

                  @Vishwas: Superb info & arrangements. I'd suggest we stay at pangong Tso lake side. Of what I'v heard, the Sunrise there is unlike anywhere...

                  Satyen I dint get you, we already have one stay at Delhi. Inder+2 can catch us in Delhi or in Manali, if we plan to stay there for a day rather than in Delhi

                          Whoa !!...Neeelaa Sawar is Going in May..As per the info's which i had read so far.Most of the passes will be closed at that time.
