    Please find attached file for railway parcel rates.

    Checked with TCI freight. They will charge approx. 1900 per bike. Packing extra but will take 7 working days for delivery to Delhi.

          guys I vaguely remember that it is possible to take the bike along with you in the train as extra baggage? is that too expensive?

            Well i bought my bike from Nagpur in train, they just charged me 750 bucks, no relation to CC or anything. They had a fixed price tag for a bike parcel from Nagpur to Mumbai, rates only differed with different trains. took only 2 days.

                    Cause for now we have decided that we will make arrangement after reaching respectives places, but if incase we dont get it, they can be of the gr8 help to us.

                      SMALL UPDATE: Due to a very imp meet on 29th-30th of this month, I will be starting for Delhi on either 29th night or 30th night n I guess I'll be riding alone.
                      Will reach Delhi on either 31st may evening or 1st june morning...

                      @Satyen, if you are OK with (Iron butt sort of Night riding) my dates I'd love to ride with you or else you can carry-on with the current plan & we meet in Delhi on dates as mentioned above.


                      Rest of the Plan stays as it is, CHEERS...

                        I am ok with Iron butt kind of a ride, but my only gripe is about the time and the weather..... Its too hot and night riding around Ahmedabad is a pain (especially with our bikes with low lights)

                        I guess I will go solo till Delhi or some place and catch you there... Inder was saying something about him wanting to ride down now... and now this!
                        As if there wasnt enough confusion/thrills in life, that I got to see this on an insomnia-attacked- 5 am night/day!

                            If Inder is not planning to load the bike, then may be you should load yours!

                            Zombie riding is something which I am very much against due to the fact that this is going to be a tough long tour, since its my first to Leh, I dont want to spend it being tired and sleeping in the tent!

                            I repeat to all, think well about the ride, its not a cakewalk! It may not be impossible, but its not going to be walk in the park too!

                            Psst. I will be up with a small surprise in some 1:45 minutes or so
