How long the pass is expected to take to be re-opened?

And, would it be quite tough to ride to Rohtang for us? (We've done a single trip when it comes to hills)

No idea, as its raining there. You can go there stay , enjoy the weather and as soon as it opens, you can go there

Anyways, any other option except Shimla-Narkanda for 4-5 days from Delhi? Would be looking for places where we have tourist spots also.

Chitkul may be, the last village of india before China border.....
But we also also went there the off roading to that place is back breaking, Rampur is an option too....
Rest I guess seasoned tourers can guide you better

Zayn & Mandhir are riding towards Chitkul. Hope they don't get stuck somewhere. Since it's rainy season now, ladslides will occur nowadays. Latest news was that Rohtang Pass is closed for 3 days now & tourists are stuck

if u think that was difficult .. try the road between gramphoo to losar you will have a new defination for difficult .Its not even 100kms but took me over a day to comlete with a lot of other issue for which i will have a diffrent thread.
Just came back from spiti today 2am. Did kaza to karnal in 18hrs straight , but still gramphoo to losar takes the cake .

met them while coming back from kazaa ..
werent stuck ,though a bit off schedule i believe , as it was getting late and they had to reach chitkul.

I need info on fuel availabilty in the Leh -Tso Morriri, Spiti and Pangong Tso routes. Three of us from Kerala are starting in last week of Aug and will start the ride from Delhi on Sep1.

Tentative plan as of now is as below.
