Hey guys,
Any one from Mumbai can join me from 24th of May to 12th of June? You can get/read my plan on the 6th page of this thread (first post on 6th page).

I really want to do this trip and really need some company. If I don't get company, I will have to cancel my dream ride and I don't know if I will ever get a chance again.

Please help.

@ Neil be prepared to extend your ride plan if you are starting on 24th May. As there might be great chances of passes not opening up and you will be forced to stay back untill the passes are opened which might take a couple of days or in the worst condition return back.

Also if you do not get any company for riding keep your self free till Aug-Sep. You may get someone to ride with till Sep. There would definitely be many a riders from Mumbai and Pune, keep searching and contacting and you would definitely find a few. Do not try to attempt it solo as there would be places where you would fall or your steed gets stalled and you would need help to go ahead and May to mid June there would be sparse traffic to help you out.

So planned the ride from 24th of May to 12th of June. And in my plan, i have chosen the Srinagar-Leh route Which opens at the start of May. So I thought passes will be open.

Neilv, I appreciate your interest in riding to Leh with us however I would suggest you to ride with us at least 2-3 times for over 500kms so that we can get adapted to each other riding and if we can manage staying together.

Your planned dates and our dates don't match ... Also we are not riding from Mumbai we are planning to start our ride from Delhi onwards.

Hey, I would love to ride with you guys before riding to Leh. Just tell me when you guys are going for rides. I would love to join you.

Also, I know my schedule is different from yours. If I decide to ride with you guys, I will also start my ride from Delhi like you guys. Or, I will do a solo ride from Mumbai-Delhi. And while coming back, I will send my bike by train like you guys.

Do keep an eye on this OFFICIAL WEBSITE OF DISTRICT LEH (LADAKH) for road status.

Expenditure 15k-25k per person.

Petrol 5000.
Stay+Food 8000.
Bike shipment if any by train 5000.
Clothing/Gears/Bags/Spares additional.

What are the ID Proofs that i should carry along with me.
So that i dont have any problem in getting the permits.
and also do i have to carry the NOC of the bike along with me ( my bike was bought under loan , so it is hypothecated)
Please can you help me with this information.
