i am starting to Leh on 16th/17th june from delhi (reaching delhi via train from hyderabad). My return ticket for hyderabad is booked for 25th june.Is any one planning around these dates?

I am riding solo from Delhi 11th June, if you interested, I can postpone my trip 1 week as I am not very much in favor of riding solo.

Hi guys , i have a plan around 15th june for Leh ,just wanted to know which mobile network works best there ,i have idea and vodafone .Any Lehied can easily help me out for this and can we stay connected online too??

Only BSNL postpaid connection works in all areas of Ladakh. Other networks work in Leh town only. So if you wish to stay connected, no other option than BSNL POSTPAID. Prepaid would not work.

Hi, I am planning to get Leh'd this year in July (Dates not sure). (Hope nothing comes in between as priority).

Below is the tentative itenary I have prepared. This is the first time I am going so feedback are welcome.



I would also like to know where all the permits should be taken? What are the procedures for the same ?

We will ship our bikes by Train from Bangalore to Delhi and while returning we will be riding back.

august is good --many of the "organised" leh tours are in august--

most of the snow gets melt by than & river crossings are little higher in no. that's it ,other than that nothing is different

no heavy rains as it's a rain shadow area
