Have you tried Viaterra claw ... its a tail come saddle bag with 55 liters. All in one bag, its around 3k. Not sure you want that much space. Also the cramster, not sure how it fits duke but have seen people using then on d200.

Dirtsack has few more option but they are around 3.5k or more. Also check if you can get a custom made bag.

      Thanks

Assuming that you will continue riding in the future.. you can invest in a good quality saddlebag and tankbag since you will be be either one of them or both in the future. There are few tankbags out there that have taken a beating by many riders and have passed the test with flying colours. If you want a good capacity, then i would recommend the Optimus M Tankbag of Rynox. Its been tried and tested for years, many reviews available on xbhp and other platforms. The one feature that i like about the bag is that it can be used separately as a backpack. Its just like a backpack for everyday use. So, you can make the most of the money spent in purchasing the tankbag by using it as a backpack on motorcycling occasions. it also looks neat as a backpack. Consider spending 500-600 extra in getting a quality backpack (backpacks will be available from around 1000 if you purchase them separately)

For saddlebags, there are many options out there depending on what motorcycle you use.

I will recommend the Optimus M Tankbag highly. Then, you can choose the saddlebag depending on how much budget is left behind.

You may also look at the Rynox Hawk Tail Luggage System. It comes in 2 colors- Black-Blue and Black-Orange.

The best part about the bag is that you can compress (38L) and expand (53L). Even in the expanded form you can use it with a saddlebag. So it is a perfect companion for those short rides and also is not useless for the long ones as you can couple it with a Saddlebag.

Comes with in-built bungee cords and also have mounting straps. Have used it and has absolutely zero displacement.

Here are two reviews of the bag that I came across- AvalokArticulations: An honest review of Rynox's Hawk Tailbag and http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/motorcyc...wx-review.html

            Hope this helps

The Claw is too big for my liking and claw mini is bit small. So claw out . Seen few Dukes with Cramster Colt. Wondering if the Rynox Stacker will fit the duke rear or not.

Are Cramster bags waterproof or it comes with a rain cover? any idea?

I agree with you But the problem is i live in a island with limited road network and will be shipping my bike to mainland india for the trip and once the trip is over the bags are going to be of no use probably for a year(Saddle or Tail). So not investing much on them. i usually travel with my 40L Quechua for months so i know 40L is going to be sufficient for the trip. and the Backpack or duffel bag will be solely used to carry spare fuel. when not in use it will go inside the saddlebag.

Tankbag is solely for keeping my DSLR + Lenses and i have the LOWEPRO MICA which sits perfectly on the duke's tank with no movements at all. (Its a dedicated DSLR Bag so the padding is very good and its from Lowepro so quality is very good and its cheap Rs 1300 from Snapdeal ) Pic attached. mounting system will be modified b4 the trip already have an idea. this method works fine with dry roads

                • Help needed: GIVI Top Case for Tourer

                  Hi everyone,

Been a while since I posted something and this time I need help. I am based in Pune and I am looking for a GIVI Top Case (55 litres) Importing isn't an option as most of the online stores (Revzilla, sportbiketrackgear, amazon USA/UK/EU, ebay USA/UK/EU) do not ship to India for "Manufacturer Constraints". In Pune I dont see any dealer keeping a stock of these cases. Even the Pawar Seat covers in Laxmi Road/Nana Peth doesn't have it.. all he gets is a 23 liters one.

I am looking for a Top Box for a long tour with my Wife... hence the requirement is of a top case which can easily hold two full faced AGV K3 Helmets (55 liters should be ideal). I have got the panniers (Givi Monokey) already.

If you have any leads please PM me

                  Thanks in Advance

                  Sourabh.

I did a fair bit of research and these were the best in the market. The flip side is that these come only for the left side, so the one on your right will have to be fixed in reverse.

Earlier people had to mount the Studds Cruiser Pannier inverted (reflector in front) on the left side as this model was only produced for the right side. Just got a mail from them that they now have boxes for left as well as right as seen in the pic.

                                Hello,
Please suggest a saddle bag for Pulsar 200NS/AS. I am looking for saddlebags (since i will ride +1) with very good capacity and I prefer the regular "Rectangular" shaped bags rather than the triangle shaped bags that Rynox Nomad has, for maximum space utilization and also since 200NS/AS has a underbelly exhaust there is no need for triangle shaped bags (which probably are shaped that way to avoid contact with the exhaust)
Has anyone tried Cramster Stallion or the Viaterra Leg Saddlebags with the Pulsar 200?
It's a lot like nuts and bolts - if the rider's nuts, the ride - bolts!
