although it cost but is great.

Available at BP petrol pump near moolchand flyover(south delhi)

Costing - Rs. 50 for three months (3 top ups)

    Air Pressure

    Front wheel - 19
    Rear Wheel - 22
    (Yamaha R15)

the chap on the filling station said sir top up will only be required when the tyre get punctured, but can come anytime to check the pressure.

and yes i have checked on net about the cons of filling this gas and found few general points like availability, costing, etc...
Thanks Mate; just wanted to ask u a ques.....

How did he filled the Nitrogen? Did it take long? I am asking this coz the correct way to do it is to deflate the tyre, fill it up with Nitrogen, again deflate it and finally, fill it with the Nitrogen.....
    Pls clarify

That is the process the BP petro pump guys followed when filling nitrogen in my tyres. Got new set of tyres will probably fill in nitrogen in them now.

yes they actually deflate it by removing the air cap (don't know the word), then they use some machine, same as air pipe to clean the tire with the gas (as you said the inflation then deflation and then again inflation) nitrogen only and finally they filled the gas..
        it hardly takes 5 mins.....

            • Hi guys, i got my P200s tyres inflated with the nitrogen here in chennai.

It seems to be fine now, like i got the feeling as if the tyre has got its shape back coz earlier i had some wobbly feeling at some speeds, now its pretty stable.
The tyre pressures seem to be maintained for more days as my rear rubber is already FC*Ked up with 9 punctures and mended.
              My verdict...its better now.

              • A quick question. While filling in nitrogen some days back, I asked the tyre guy what tyre pressure he normal puts in bikes and said, 28 in front and 25 at the back. Earlier I had put 25 and the bike felt very very stable but this time thought of going with what the normal tyre pressure is - 28 (front) and 32 (rear). The guy said there is no problem in filling 32 behind as well just that the bike will bounce a bit more but so far haven't had that bouncy feeling! I have a Pulsar 150 DTSi

What tyre pressure do you guys normally fill?

                • Filling Nitrogen comes with a validity. Do you need to flush a old nitrogen and get the new one filled after a certain period. What is this for?

and ya there isn't a vailidity period on nitrogen afaik.

Fill it once, then leak the air out and fill it again and he said "no, we take the air out, and fill it with nitrogen and thats it" is he cheating or what? i thought your spose to fill it twice ???? someone please explain?

Dear i would not suggest you to fill the same level of nitrogen.. its anything in excess is always harmful. the technicians have tested and then made the chart of the air or nitrogen pressure so better take care.....

                                Hi All,

This is my first post. I am from Hyderabad and nitro charges for both the tyres is 10Rs.I have Yamaha R15 and as per manual 28 units for Front Tyre and 33 units for Rear Tyre is suggested for air. Does this value change if I use nitro. I am using same values for nitro. for a month or so and didn't find any improvement as such.
Just wondering whether I missed the correct values.

                                This is my first post
                                Thanks,
