it must be old stock.. Because the last year when I bought 300V it used to be 750 rs while the MRP used to be 795rs & now the prices have gone up.Originally posted by jayprashanth View PostCherry Agencies on JC road is ripping people off by selling Motul 300V at INR 895. The same oil is available at Motorcycle House( in the lane off SBI JC road) for INR 750. So, xbhpians buying Motul may choose to head to Motorcycle House as the savings are considerable.
Cheers,
Jay

Yeah, the list price of the Motul 300V cans I bought was INR 895 but I bought it for INR 750/liter. And no it isn't old stock since the date of import is December 2009. Just checked the cans now. It isn't just at Motorcycle House, Sandhya Spares located opposite also charged INR750 when my friend bought Motul a couple of weeks ago.
Cheers,

Sorry, no clue about semi-synthetic Motul as I buy only synthetic. If I happen to head that way anytime soon, I'l find out and post here.Originally posted by abhilashabhi12 View PostThis is news.. Motul engine oil @ Malleshpalya, Bangalore
Hi guys,
donno, if someone has already posted this.. I found a shop @Malleshpalya, Bangalore, which retails Motul engine oils. I got 3000 4T 15W50 mineral engine oil for Rs 215/-. The shop is near Malleshpalya city bus stop and the shop's name is Sri Krishna lubricants.
contact number : 9972307844
Feel this is useful for all the guys staying in Marathalli & Domlur etc.
I'm really surprised to see some guys are using castrol 4T 20W40 in bigger puslars? is it the recommended one? I always thought it's got to be 20W50 for newer versions of Pulsars.Let's bring down the monster of corruption to it's knees.. please visit http://ipaidabribe.com/

Sorry for the lame question. But, how do you check oil's capability?Originally posted by abhilashabhi12 View PostGo ahead & use it. It is much better than Mineral oils & I m sure it is best VFM oil available in synthetic range..
I did non stop 260kms to check this oil's capability although it did sustain, but it was no where close to Motul 300v.
All in all a good oil

It is not lame, but this is a very good question.Originally posted by FranklySpeaking View PostSorry for the lame question. But, how do you check oil's capability?
You ride a same bike with different oils each for some km's say 50kms i.e first with mineral oil & then semi synthetic & then the fully synthetic, that should give you a fair idea of different oil's capability.
Mainly the engine oil capability be felt in the highways, that how well the Oil keeps the engine smooth & perform on High RPM riding.sigpicAll India Permit 1+1

Also I recently met one of the Manger from Mobil Oil Company in Bangalore Auto Expo, he said they will soon introduce all there Moto oil available in Bangalore.
I'll Keep you posted with that.
Thanks to this dude, I got the Petronas Sprinta from the same Dealer Sidharth (Mobile number: 9845249978). MRP says 397/-, I got it for 340/-
Posting few pics of the bottle. ( in case if it would be of any help to anyone)
I have used this oil before. I'm so happy to get this fully synth oil again. It changes the character of my ZMA in a second.
However, I have not tried the Motul 300v Factory line yet. Wonder if it is any better or much better,.Never Argue with an Idiot !!!

Hey Dude.
Patronas Sprinta 5000 4t will come with 10w40 viscosity.
Dude I met the Sidharth ( Dealer for Patronas) in Auto Expo in Bangalore in April.
Even I met the one of the manager for Mobil.. per his update soon they will make their product available in market for motorbikes.
My only concern is HH recommends 10W30, however all the synthetic comes with 10W40.
will it not make any difference in the bike?

@Madness: Maybe u haven't read the very FIRST post in this thread on the first page.Originally posted by Madness View PostHey Dude.

Well, To answer ur query, if ur bike needs 20W40, its ok to use a 20W50 also, because the oil is thicker and this would be good especially in summers because of the extra heat, ur oil would flow properly and stick to the walls properly at such high temperatures.
Well, HH recommends 10W30, but sadly, we dont find any. I think the new Karizma's recommend 10W40. Not really sure.Never Argue with an Idiot !!!
