why dont you try them all and make your own preferred choice.
btw, I think 1.3k to 1.5k kms change interval in quite frequent

that's again a very good oil. I'd say best (& value for money) in mineral oils in that grade. Last heard, it was near 220rs (Dec '11)
      others can confirm its price..

as my weekly diving condition is about 180 to 250 km per week and offen change my engine oil in 1300km to 1500km or in one month ..
Defnitely go for MOTUL 5100 15W 50. And let me tell you that its Synthetic and not full synthetic. Full Synthetic FS is not good for our FZ/FAZER. Results in clutch slippage. Use SS or Synthetics...Nothing and i literally noting can beat the performance and engine response you will get from Motul 5100. Motul 5100 is good for almost 4500kms minimum. Else go for yamalube SS15W50 for 3500km. Brother just use motul and feel the difference.

                  • The company stated a drain interval of 10,000 kms
I doubt it . How much drain interval you people follow??

and which is the cheapest gear oil SAE 80 or 90 for oiling the Air filter??
                    which is lighter??

drain at 2-2.5 kms interval (max).
And for oiling airfilter, buy the cheapest you can buy, even if its a 2T oil. Afterall you need a supporting medium to trap dust & not to lubricate. right? (I use drained engine oil ) And I guess sae 80 is lighter.

                      • Even for the simple purpose like oiling of the foam air filter element or drive-chain , buy a good SAE90 grade gear-oil like Servo or Castrol . Around Rs100 for 500ml bottle, should last you years . Or use mineral based 2T or a leftover mineral 20w40/20w50 oil (not used stuff) . Cheap / used oils just lacks the viscosity and drips off . If the oil is not sticky enough or doesn't stay on the foam at least for 2000 kms of riding ... it won't serve the purpose of trapping dirt for the length of use . This is something I found from my own mistakes and trials with various oils on the filter elements . Synthetic oils are unsuitable for use on foam air-filters .

                        • ^^ thats true. don't ever use "used engine oil" sae 90 is not very costly.
