guys i bought ls2 phobia yesterday from balaji helmets jc road for rs2675/-
even my brother bought the same ff351 but different graphics
the posts in this thread helped me a lot
thanks guys for providing me info about the store address and the lid
i loved the ls2 when i first wore it
i came to know how important a good helmet was only after reading posts here in this thread previous i had a different thought that why should anyone spend so much money on a helmet like more than thousand bucks.
he told the same thing posted by others that cross,ls2,sparx,sol are manufactured in the same place ie in chaina
i argued that vega is manufacturing ls2 in different name as many guys said here but he said no anyways i stopped arguing and balaji helmets guys doesnt know about xbhp.
i also bought a sweet pair of gloves for 700rs from cross,
i love the gloves ill post he pics of the gloves in the evening

they didnt give me a bill
is it important to have bill
i should have taken it is it

Congrats,
now please make sure that you get the bill, if you find some manbufacturing damages with the padding or paint flaking off soon, you can get it replaced, without bill, you cannot prove you bought the helmet from that retailer.

did u take bill from them
if yes then those who have bought ls2 lids from them,
was it 2700 for ls2 phobia inclusive of tax is it

SOL is not super good, but yes I guess. I've work the metal man series, and rode it 80 KMPH, I can hear some whistling on the top of my head, and yes I guess wind noise is not much or less than LS2. At least from the LS2 I've worn, the Phobia.

As I previously said, almost all helmets do have some noise component to it, you can't wipe them out altogether.

Glad to hear that you've invested a good amount of money on something that's invaluable. That being, it's a good idea to procure the bill for whatever you source. It's a good practice as it will help you a lot in case of warranty, theft etc depending on the warranty given by the seller.

Do post the review of the gloves and the helmet soon, with good photos, especially of the gloves

I thought the price at which they sell is including tax and all. Even if you are talking about mrp, i believe its including tax. So i don't think that getting the bill will increase the tax.

I got my LS2 phobia with bill at Rs2500/-, that was like 8-9 months ago.

i brought ls2 phobia matte pearl white one n half year back n it was 3.2.
anyways balaji is a nice place to buy helmets. whenever i lost my defogger i go there n they gimme a replacement for free so far i have taken twice :P.
may be because me n frenz have brought many helmets from them :P

I don't think you can get a genuine KBC at that price. I think PRS is the one who retails KBC, at least it should be in the range of 7 to 8k. Seems fake to me, at least!

1500 grams which is 1.5 KG max. Some helmets out there even weigh in grams, don't even touch the kilo mark. 1.5 +- should be an ideal figure.

DOT mandates certification to be laminated within the clear coat of the helmet. Stickers are not allowed. Definitely fake.

Actually the acceptable weight range in certified helmets is between 1200 gms to about 1800 gms, so 1500 gms is considered the median. Many modular helmets weigh more than this too. I am not aware of any certified helmet breaching the 1000 gms lower limit.
