Thank you and also @metaphoric.el thank you a lot. . . It's Vega Axor helmet, new product launched by Vega, not found everywhere or every shops, the price of the helmet is 2k, as he was my frnd, he gave it to me for 1.75k and 300rs for graphics, i.e., he said graphic won't stick on, so he just put on sticker and almost everyone liked it. . . As you are seeing in that price range, you can take this with your eyes closed, it's awesome, good comfort and also has good ventilation, for more pics of the helmet, go back 2-3 pages back where I posted many pics of the helmet. . . Just take this or try with Studds Scorpion, another good one in that range. . .

    Cheers!!!

True that.. Nice deal for 1.75k. I have a colleague of mine using the same helmet with the graphics shown in the video (Axor Skull RIP) and he got it for 1.8k. The shell indeed is pretty good : hard, as compared to other Vega models and the comfort / ventilation also is good. And its having kinda rubber matt finish which I liked a lot..

For looters anything they eye on is a loot for them. When you spend so much on something, you need to take care of it. Simple as that. Carry it, you need to. It doesn't take much of a strength to carry it with you. Of course this is a problem for most of them, but as members have rightly pointed, getting used to it. And it will be of a second nature to you that you won't turn on that ignition key of your bike without the helmet on. And trust me you won't.

Haha. Now this Vega FORMULA HP (white colored one) rekindled my memories I had with it for close to three years, white one, really macho looking helmet and exactly bought for the same price close to 450 bucks something years back. If it weren't for those goddarned cheek pads that came off -- well can't blame them numerous use, numerous washes and it the glue finally gave off.

Well believe it or not, when riding back from my office at around 7:00 PM evening 4 years back, always used to keep my visor open on peak traffic for those glaring headlights. But for some reason that day I closed it and was riding. When suddently BHAM BHAM BHAM screech, something the size of a crow hit my visor so hard left and was stuck there, fiddling leaving scratches and then disappeared by the side.

Came home told the incident to my parents, they were like WTF, that was a bat that tried to hit you in your eyes and my granny was like, bats are fond of human eyes and they snatch them and she's seem them too. I was like WTF!

But till the helmet was phased off I can see those three little scratch marks on the left side of my visor. When ever I wore that VEGA helmet, and see those exact three perfect scratches, I still remember how close of a call it was. Boy!

That's why I've advised you, always deal with the main guys, so that they are fast at shipping. It's not to diss out the local resellers, but just give them some time, perhaps they are working on it. BACHOO MOTORS usually ship the stuff in the same day from the numerous stuffs I bought from them, shipping is excellent from BACHOO. Don't know about these local resellers.

But just give it a day or two, and see what happens. But keep pestering Champion Motors. They will eventually ship and they've got to, but there should be some problem on their side where it's getting delayed.

Give it a day or two. PEACE. I know how it feels waiting for the thing you love, but I don't wanna be an overkill more.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
        The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Does anyone know a place where one can get a good motorcycling helmet for kids in India? Size 510-520mm to be precise, I think its an XXS or XS size.

SPG stocks XS for youth in NEXX TriComposites because of very lightweight. Pricey though at abt Rs.10k., since these were brought in for youngsters on track and karts.

EDIT : Sorry, it slipped my mind to ask - is it for a boy or girl? If for a girl, SPG also stocks SOL in Youth Small (about 52cms) with girly graphics. About Rs.3k or thereabouts. Send a mail to the HelpDesk - [email protected] for details.

A helmet is something which is meant to be used outdoors to test and justify its status as "BEST" or "VFM" ................ I hope you have rode enough miles on a stretch to make that "BEST" recommendation to any fellow member on this public platform.

Am asking because if you are getting it to be couriered anywa, you could have ordered directly from Bachoo as suggested by B7ACKTHORN.

But no issues, I guess. Champion though legally just authorised for LV, might be sourcing from Velavan, taking a little commission and selling. So, the delay may be for that. If there is a stock problem, you will probably have to wait longer. Anyway, I think you should get it so don't worry. And commission or not, I don't think you have lost anything on price.
Yah i have checked Bachoo Motors site before calling Champion Motors , Just for an inquiry i have called up Champion Motors and asked do they sell Airoh too and that dealer said Yes of course.

and even i have inquired from Velvan too and the size which i need is not available with them, So that is y am doubting lil bit reg the helmet which he ll be sending me.

ya I have been riding it and at that pricing, it's a great helmet, not comparing with other helmets above that range or to LS2 but those who are looking a buy around 2k, it's a best deal. . . Other than that one can see Studds and yes, will bring out more pictures with the cheek pads removed and for a rider like me who never used to wear a helmet before and also whenever used to wear, used to wear a cheap helmet, I think this is better to start. . .

I dont understand how can people here term a helmet as "best" when they are not comparing that to any other helmet. They need to understand that a single word can give a sentence a different meaning.
I personally have used Vega Formula HP, LS2 (old heavy model), SOL, Iicon and AGV-K3 and yes now I can term that IICON and K3 were the "best" amongst those that "I" have used , SOL comes next due to its ventilation, next LS2 due to its snug fit and vfm when I bought it and last goes to Vega as it worked good for first few months and then I would be happy to term it as "plastic bucket".

                          PERIOD

@prateek2210 I am not comparing this to any helmets like LS2 or SOL and then saying it is best over them as I have clearly mentioned above, "those who are looking a buy around 2k, it's a best deal" other than Studds. . . BTW this "Axor" is totally different compared to other helmets like Boolean or Cava in the same brand. . . For those who have a limited budget can go for this, not everyone can afford a SOL or other big brands here, not at least as their first helmet. . . I hope you got the answers. . .

When somebody says a budget of 2k, there is always a factor of some "+ or -" and then LS2 (generally Phobia) has been reported on this thread by fellow members to start from 2.3 k .......... and so it surely falls in the comparison, though at the upper end of pricing.

If possible do put a few pictures of Studds (the model about which you are talking) when you turn up with your illustrated review/comparison (I remember you have a friend who owns a helmet shop, and I guess he may not be having any problem to help you click a few pics of the Studds ). Please let us know if you have got a bargain on a VAT Bill. Further more, your friend can also provide you a price estimate of a replacement visor, cheek pad etc (just to ensure the completeness of your review).

I hope reading and replying to your last post has helped me to conclude that your review will be most likely in between

The XS probably would have been the best choice, But to be frank 10k is well out of my budget at the moment.

The helmet is for my daughter, I'm taking her pillion with me on the bike to school and back and almost every day. And great news if I can get the SOL in that size, would be a perfect fit for her. I'll get in touch with Spratan Pro Gear and check. Thank you so much for helping me out
