I am trying since last 3-4 days to contact SPG via e-mail and phone but no body is responding so I have to ask to you guys.
Megha Enterprises (Authorised SOL dealer in Bangalore) is quoting 6480 INR (including 14% VAT) for SOL SF1 Solid White and 6840 INR for SOL SF1 Acme.
I read earlier in this thread that someone booked Solid White for 5520 INR from Delhi.

Can someone remove my confusion whether its Karnataka Govt's fault or Megha Enterprises is charging more?

Is there any other shop which sell at or lower than MRP, or it is only Delhi where the rates are as per website.
Shall I make a trip to Chennai (SPG office) to avoid taxes? (as I am thinking of buying a new jacket and knee-guards too)

Thinking of finishing all the purchasing by coming Sunday as its difficult (inside my head) to ride with an accidental helmet.

SOl SF1 Acme or the Sparx S 07(Demon) which one is better? I didn't saw the Sol in person so is the shell size of the Sol sf1 same as sparx. I was looking for a dual visor helmet so came up on the SF1 Acme.

Atleast I found the S07 XL to be a little more loose compared SOL Dragon XL using this as scale IMO the sizes differ.

Personally I would prefer the SF1 over S07 again due to the dual visor but the sparxx has a great fit too

It's due to those Durga Pooja holidays they might be off, perhaps. IIRC Megaha enterprises as quoted by Sunnyside_up is including all the taxes, I might be wrong. If you're in Chennai that's okay, but if you'd have to travel to Chennai for the sake of it, darn, your fuel expenses or whatever means of transport plus the nitty-gritties or at least close. But that's stll 1k more for the helmet alone and I don't know how much it would be for the jacket too. Let's wait for SPGs confirmation.

But I'd completely advice you to refrain from using Vega products reason being two,

Kindly allow me to add the third point .............

Vega mostly imports their upper price bracket products (which are labelled with ECE/DOT) and therefore they fail to offer you any spare (mostly visors) after some months .......... in case if you drop them a mail, chances are that the reply will say "dear sir, we are out of stocks for the said spare of the product as of now".

How is Ryder as a helmet brand. I am on the look out for a helmet to replace my current one (SAFE). Few of the helmets I tried ( STUDDS etc) goes in till the eye brows and not beyond that. I dont want to go for SAFE brand again as I am not able to get spare VISORS, locks etc that easily . A budget of 2 K is fine with me. Kindly help me. I am based out of Chennai. If there are other indian brands that makes slighly bigger sized helments please suggest.

As VJ mentioned, it is indeed the holidays playing spoilsport. The helmets should cost about 15% more (at the maximum) than the price listed on the website for states which have VAT. TN has no VAT on helmets so all brands are cheaper there. Apparel such as jackets and knee guards attract the same VAT all over India, so you will not get a lesser price by travelling all the way to Chennai.

Got my new SOL metal man from Lets gear up HSR layout Bangalore with an extra visor. Feels very solid compared to my previous Vega.

Anyone can tell me good helmet shop at Kolkata from where I can get high end helmets. I check with Khanna and Wellington stores. Not satisfied with the products. Any suggestions.
