Re: Helmets
Bro no ls2 is available for rs 2700 now, even places like flipkart have ls2 rs 4500 upwards,so could be the right price as 4.2k,and regarding fake ls2,there are fake alpinestars gear as well,so that means people should stop buying alpinestars altogether?each to his own,I have bought a mt last year from moto 101 pune and no issues till date, and also have a ls2 ff350 cartoon graphics which is serving me well since past 3 years, had paid rs 2850 back then for ls2.,Had checked the new ls2 ff352 which is nothing but better internal padding and gives a much snug fit than the old ff350,and the sharp uk website too states 4star rating for ff352,Originally posted by prateek2210 View PostHave you read the fake LS2 thread?? If not, then do go through what the authorised dealer has to say to specific queries. And yes it still sells for 2700 here

Re: Helmets
Very true the sol helmets are really good but the bitter truth is the availability of the parts. One of my dear friends is really having a hard time in getting the front visor set. Do get a pair of set of the visor in advance as it is very difficult in the later stage. Otherwise the lid is very comfortable.Originally posted by lasky View PostSol is a premium helmet in 5k category,go for it with eyes closed, but after sales service might be an issue, kindly confirm the availability of spares before finalisingclick me

Re: Helmets
Its been 2 days i am using this helmet - LS2 FF352 Phobia grey. It cost me Rs.4200 from Probiker helmets in Pune. It has a snug fit and it nicely holds every inch of ur face. It felt very light as my previous one was a vega boolean which i guess was around 1.8 kgs compared to this one which is 1.3 kgs. I dont miss the flip flop as i rarely used it. The build quality is superb. The chin strap annoys me sometimes as it constantly touches the neck but after a while i forget about it. It takes some efforts to get used to slide the visor up. The removable breath deflector does its job but throws the exhaled air back on your face. Another old model FF350 was available for 600 less but missing new designed vents, netted lining, sharp 4 rating and i guess weight.Originally posted by Ankitsingh007 View PostOh,But do make a short review after a few rides as I have not seen ls2 review from quite a while[emoji6]
Coming to the rides, i have tried them under 2 circumstances - Highway and during traffic onroute to work. With visor on, vents open you get decent amount of cooling at normal speed. There is no noise either at high speed. But when you open the visor there is whistling sound throughout. The visor helps a lot during sunny days and the only heat you face is from your exhaling breath. At a standstill or very low speeds you can feel the heat and you may need to open the visor a bit for air flow.
In terms of looks i get many complements at work and i think i have motivated couple of colleagues to get one. I chose the mirror finish visor as it further complements the style quotient. For replacements three types of visors are available mirror, black, clear all at the rate of Rs.550
Ps : I have very less idea about helmets and so the review is accordingly.Last edited by Tejas.Vern; 10-20-2015, 09:27 AM.

Re: Helmets
Bought MT Axxis Falcon helmet in the high viz colour from Moto 101 Pune. (Great place to buy your gears)
Upgraded from my 2 year old LS2 phobia.
The helmet is very snug and causes slight pain near the ears initially. Will have to wait for the cheek pads to break in.
Will update with more reviews after few rides with it.

I have a MT Axxis Braking Helmet, using it since 6 months.Yes there was pain near the ears, even after using for 2-3 breakfast rides the pain was still there. After that I washed the paddings and wore the helmet for a 300kms ride last sunday and the pain was gone.
Cheers
