    Can anyone help me out.
Im looking forward to buy a bell star helmet, but if I order from abroad and get it shipped to India I will have to pay a lot of duty.
So can anyone help me source the helmet?

Information: visors of Mt axxis and blade are interchangeable. I bought a blade and tried axxis visor on it. It is perfect fit. Btw i asked spg if the visors are same and they replied that they are different and can not be interchanged. May be they wanted me to buy a new visor. I tried blade visor on axxis also and it is also perfect fit.

You're in real luck, today itself I saw this helmet in Bikingspirit, Bangalore, when I went to check out MT helmets. Take a look
Bell MX-9 Adventure Barricade Helmet – Biking Spirit

They're a listed dealer by SPG. so I don't think you'd have to worry about it being original or such

Hey, today I ordered an MT Axxis from SpartanProGear, along with an iridium visor, as Blade wouldn't accommodate my specs in it. However, I have no idea about how to
change the visors in it, since you seem to know about it could you help me out?
Any description, or a video or such would do fine, as I'm not able to find anything :/

        Thanks!

Are the iridium visor any better than smoked visor. I have a Sol unicorn with clear and smoked visor. I am unsure whether I should get the iridium visor or not. Can't make up my mind on it.

Don't buy iridium if you already have a smoked one. Iridium is preferred over smoked ones only because they look cool. Just the looks and nothing else.

I dont have the helmet as of now, I placed the order today, for axxis evo matt version. That one comes with a clear visor, so along with that I ordered an iridium one, as the SPG guy told me its the exact same as smoked from the interior, and I liked the look of iridium better. Is there some other difference that I missed?
PS in my case, once I wore the helmet, my specs wouldn't fit, and felt like they would break, I guess face shape maybe? [emoji14]
              Thanks!

Alrite thanks. Was very much confused whether should I complete the set or not. I will avoid it now, since they are practically the same. Thanks man!!

I remember seeing the red one you posted in the pic, coz its more of a streamlined look which I remember noticing. They had like a rack of approx 12-15 helmets of bell.

So, I was extremely low on budget and had to buy a jacket+helmet at the same time. Thus after little research and reviews from my friends I have decided to buy the Studds Shifter matt black edition.
I am basically a city rider but do weekend tours occasionally.
So, is it a good choice for a price of Rs. 2100??

tried calling PRS, Mumbai and Redline Racing, Delhi?
I dont know about the review, but they seem to be better than Kranos or MT. I have personally seen them and tried. Have bluetooth slot and anti-fog mirrors too.

Received my MT Axxis today from Spartan ProGear
Had a few apprehensions initially about their courier service, but got a timely and well packaged delivery.
Contents: MT Axxis Limited Evo Black and Orange Rs. 4750
Loved the helmet, its so well built, at this price for DOT and ECE, its a steal. It looks really cool too, love the matte finish more than the glossy ones.

Found the helmet to be comfy, although it does feel a little tight (but that's coming from my old helmet which was super loose. The MT too shakes a tad little bit when I shake my head, but thats the price I have to pay for getting my specs to fit in it).
Blade didn't work for me at all, no space at all for my specs, although I did find the blade a little more comfortable. Apart from that and the Sun visor I couldn't really find any difference O.o No clue what the 1.5k is for.
The Double D rings (hehe) are rather tricky for a first time user, can anyone tell me how exactly am I supposed to use it to tighten to the level I need?
Overall, really satisfied with it, I would recommended MT to anyone over SOL, LS2 and Kranos

The iridium honestly looks slightly odd with the orange, but still like it a lot more than the smoked one. It matches really well with my bike

While riding with visor open, high wind noise at 60 itself, when I close it, it subsides quite a bit, but it is there. Kinda sounds like distant thunder from the clouds. Not sure which vents were open or close that time, so will update that once i check it out properly. How come being in Bangalore you didn't try buying the same at the reseller here, Moto-101 on Lalbagh Road, opposite MTR Hotel, you could have tried the fit and checked out other options available too as I bought my Blade from them. Regarding getting used to the Double D-ring type mechanism, you can check out many videos on YouTube where they show on how to properly fasten a helmet with Double D-ring mechanism.
