Yep. vicky dot in is a horrible site and they care two hoots about their customer.
I had ordered a scale model pulsar 220 from their site. When it arrived, it was all broken at multiple places. I took pics of it even before opening the package. Mailed the customer service the pics. After a few calls here and there and some email conversations later over the whole week. They said that they could refund only the cost of the model (Approx 400Rs) The shipping from their side and from my side to return back to them the model was another 350 -- which i was supposed to pay. Raised this point but they conveniently chose to ignore.
AVOID.

Feel free to go spread the message. I dont think I had posted it there myself though I dont know why I havent. Im surprised that you were able to talk to them more than once. I mustve tried calling them around once a day for almost 10 days but no return calls whatsoever and no responses to my smses. It was my first and last shopping experience with Vicky. Appalling really.

OT - on the other hand I have bought several scale model cars from DCM and what a pleasure it is to shop with them. Excellent packaging and very friendly support. When others can give provide such a wonderful online shopping experience why should we take this treatment from *********?

viva helmets

Just the other day when I was checking out one helmet store, I saw this viva helmet. It was looking very similar to vega LS2 & priced at Rs1300/- only. Actually I have never heard of this brand. How is this viva brand?

I seem to have opened up a can of confusion over my last couple of posts. What I meant was that I had ordered scale model cars from Vicky. in which seemed to be a 'reputed' portal that dealt with a wide array of car and bike products. I had an unpleasant experience with them including their proprieter Vicky, who refused to pick my calls.

There is also another Vicky Jaising who as I recall is one half of Performance Racing Store (PRS) that deals with riding gear, helmets, slip ons etc. My post has nothing to do with this gentleman.

And now back to the thread ....

Someone was asking about Viva helmets recently. I spotted a guy wearing one today. Will enquire and post more details.

The Fox and AXO sold everywhere are duplicate stuff, a big compromise that most of the riders have to make sadly.

+1. One of the guys in our group had a bad fall/crash and the rivets on these knee guards pierced his knee causing more damage than good. He had to undergo surgery for the puncture that the knee guards caused.

Better to invest in CE approved safety gear.
