It depends how you mount them. With the standard mounting options (for cars), these lights can never be considered for cornering. To use them effectively they have to be mounted at an angle. Here is the link This link has a graphical representation of the beam spread, that is how exactly the beam spread of Micro-De is. In your picture you can not see the car that is why it is difficult to make out the spread of the beam from the light. May be in my pictures it will be more clear. But anyway, I'll mount them on Forks soon.
My 2 cents, don't mount them on fork. It will prone to damage very soon due to the shocks which are still not absorbed.
Mount them on handle bar / mirror clamps which will be a bit high and also you will have wide options to set the focus.

I wanted to be as scientific as possible.. so shot all the photos with my Canon DSLR. To keep the exposure exactly the same between the multiple shots, I shot in full Manual mode with the following exposure settings..

      50D + 17-50mm @ 17mm, 1/30, f/2.8, ISO 800, Image Stabilization On, WB Manual 4000kelvin
      .
      .
/\ Took this above shot just to give you an idea of the ambient lighting..
      .
      .
Now I zoomed in to 50mm with same exposure settings.. to get a closer view of the beam throw..
      .
      .
The wall at the end of the passage is a good 300~350 feet from where I was parked.

The results are here for you to see I think the biggest gain is in Low beam... both in terms of spread as well as intensity.

Philips claim that these are 80% brighter than standard blubs, but I felt that these are at least 40-50% brighter if not more!

      What do you guys think?
Firstly please post the pics 1 below the other so that we can view the comparo without scrolling

Brilliant effort taken there to give a comparision.

Comparing with a OEM bulb to some extent is ok but to know the difference you need to compare with a ordinary 55/60w bulb against the premium bulbs because your OEM will be 35w. That makes a huge impact.

IMO after comparing with a ordinary 55/60w Philips Bulb to Osram Nightbreaker, the intensity was hardly 10% better which I personally felt not worth the money. We will be paying 60-80rs for ordinary bulb and 400 to 800rs for the premium bulbs. Is it really worth is personal choice.

        Hi Sreeni,

I'm trying to mount above the fork clamps. There is enough space there to mount. Also I'll be protruding them little more so that it will not touch the tank fairing. Only thing is I'm yet to find the correct clamps or else I'll make one. May be I need to take another stroll in Nana Peth.
I thought of mounting them on handle, but with the beam spread it will disturb the driver ahead even though how much I tilt them. Also the handle will be totally stuffed & look clumsy if I mount both.

Hey, what about the vibrations when u mounted it on the mirror post? I guess it will be higher than the crash guard. Vibrations can be irritating and it can affect the visibility as well.

                  Hi brothers,

Was out of town for some time. While I was in Siliguri, I came across this market (on Sevoke road) that sold all kinds of 4/2 wheeler hardware and electricals.

@AbhijitKN I also found different kind of switches, there were so many kinds that the puzzle made me go color blind for a while. I did not purchase any.

Got myself a pair of DLAA H3/55w (450 bucks) dome shaped fog lamps strictly to be used in hill/plain fogs and heavy rains. I am going to mount this low on the crash guard by technicians. I am hoping my 12V/14Amp system will handle it. By looking at guys who have done it already I feel confident. I know this is cheap stuff, but after testing the light I was satisfied. I also got spare bulb. Once I fit this Ill take snaps and post here.

To reduce battery strain on current specification:

                  Headlamp 35 W
                  Tail lamp 21/5w
                  Indicator 10W
                  Starter motor 0.7 KW

I am going to change indicators and tail lamp to LED. Ill find the right design which I know is available. Hope I dont sound stupid.
In future I plan to fix HID with projector as I am merciful to oncoming traffic. That when I get the money. Till then, ill take one at a time.
You guys have any tips for LED lamps please share while i search more about it.

                  Ride safe Pals!

This time I can't give a concrete answer bcz I had opted a clamp made of steel sheet (3mm thickness) which was not sufficient to hold the light firmly and there was lot of vibs. But with a proper thick clamp I don't think it will vibrate much as I had used earlier on my Unicorn.

Didn't use regular iron clamp bcz it was very thick I had to sacrifice OEM Mirror bolts to fit them

I didn't know that the bike used for comparison is a CBR250R

You want OEM replacement LED bulbs or wanna get custom done. Custom done is more of DIY which holds good for all bikes. There are couple of threads, please check links given below. Explained very well.
One for the Unicorn and other for Pulsar.
