Guys, bear this in mind: Any aftermarket (not stock) installations will have side effects It is upto us to maintain, adapt & enjoy living with the changes.

Hint - Check for reviews on foam types

Check for cracked connecting pipes in air filter box or misaligned filter or ripped filter especially after using an aftermarket to the stock one.

I am a satisfied customer of UNI. It is not P&P but I guess all you need is expert hands. Mine is a ridiculous set-up (no jetting) of connecting pipes; surprisingly it never created a problem, as claimed by my mechanic.

Compared to simota and cosworth, k&n has bigger pores for louder sound and increased air suction which results in dust entering the cylinder over time. Try cosworth or simota. You can hardly see the pores. Membrane used is of top quality.

Personally that's a good practice. Unless it's tailor made specifically for it, like plug and play don't go for it. And especially modifying the AF box to squeeze the conical filter, man it's just so hard to see guys fiddling with stock AF box close to 1000+ bucks just to place a 550 rupees filter inside it, of course there are even costly filters, but the example is exemplary.

Check and post the results here.

    Cheers!

Check your filter. That's the culprit. A throaty roar in a stock filter means excess air is entering it without getting purified by your filter and due to dust entry, you're feeling less acceleration. Get your filter changed asap. If filter is proper then check your air-box.

Ps- enquire if your new filter is supposed to have that sound or no from where you got it. Is it a stock filter?

I'll check the air box, the sound was coming before I bought the new filter that's why I changed it but the problem was still there, nd yea its the stock filter which I bought from the ASC.
