Don't army personals have limits from canteen as per their designation ?? Come to mumbai colaba colony you can see Civic/Scorpio/XUV500 etc...
Ain't OTR prices finally varies from Canteen and normal Dealer ??
Ain't there discounts / margin on prices compare to other normal purchases even on bikes and cars... My friend got a difference of 40K on his city..
Can you show me any army personal waiting from more than a civilian for his CL350 ??
I don't have any thing against you ....but i guess the way you represented was bad...
And please don't take me seriously.... because I am on one in your life.....
Lets keep this thread clean...
It should be RE related rather army or me or you related!!
Cheers!!

I really pity the people following the thread. if the editing option was taken out from the forum, few wrong/confused/irrelevant/senseless posting could have been. It make people who genuinely use this thread for reference have a pathetic feeling.
P.S: If anybody is so confident while posting stuff why make so many edits.
P.S.S: Eshan : Whats with your signature, i was taken aback

Finally, I went for my second service today (the odo reads 3002) at Kandivali, Mumbai - Voyageur motors, Authorised service center. Here are the updates
1) The handle bar has been bent a bit due to a fall last week (stupid karishma guy went zig zag and hit my front wheel.. Felt like slapping him, but didn't). The service center guy said, if i need to change it then it will cost around 800 to 900 including labour charge. Can someone advise me or suggest an alternate solution? I heard ppl are more comfortable with RD350 handle bar. Should i go for different handle bar or stick to the stock by getting it changed?
2) They forced me to change the oil, since it is a new bike i also agreed to it (My first oil change is at 500km). Generally when the oil change is advised? Every 6000km? The booklet also reads no oil change required during second service
3) Diesel wash.. is it necessary? They charge 150 bucks for it i guess
4) Also opted for teflon coating & ask them to install rear crash guard as i m worried after last week fall
The final amount comes to around 2.7k :O. Is this normal rate for any servicing or am i charged unnecessarily?
Yesterday, i saw these modified seats.. Can someone tell where i can get this done in Mumbai.. My GF is complaining about back n bum pain whenever she sits as a pillion
Any help on this front would be of great help

Check you bike manual buddy. It has all the required info. Generally for 500 km one should ride at lead than 50 km speed and then till 2k km less than 70 km speedOriginally posted by Gaurav_Kawle View PostFinally I got the Delivery of my Electra. I did not rode the bike a lot due to work, can any body tell me what is maximum speed limit for first 1000 kms.
It varies for different bull, so manual is the best place to dig in
Congos on your bull. Happy thumping

Delays...delays and more delays
Hi Guys,
Anyone from Bangalore who is having delays with the delivery of TBTS 350 at the RE Brand store, Jayanagar?
I had booked a TBTS 350 in June last year with an expected delivery period of 4-6 months. October '12, the new TBTS was launched and I had to change my order to the new version as they had stopped production of the older model and the expected delivery was Jan '13. January I had to call them up to hear them say that due to production delays, bike would be delivered in February '13. Call them up today and they say it will take another month approximately i.e. March '13
What I don't understand is the approximate delivery date that is being postponed so much. A very unprofessional approach to any customer. Neither do they call and update in case of delays (we need to call them) nor do they answer the calls when we dial their number.
