Thanks for the update Avin. So that leaves the Kolar stretch out for now.

Well we ride fast and also ensure that whatever the speeds are, we are in control.

I always emphasize this - Ride well below your limits and the limits of the bike. Never try and keep up with someone who is faster. Different people have different skill levels and confidence levels. You're just pushing your luck if you try and ride even a little close to your limits, considering there are so many variables on our highways.

If we ride fast, we always pull over ahead and wait for the others. So we ensure that we keep track of all the riders in the group.

So that said, join us if you can and I hope you enjoy riding with us.

I'll ensure your odo will read at least 1850 kms at the end of the ride. The ride beyond 9k is pure bliss. There is no end to power delivery which is smooth and linear. Dont expect a thrust past 6k like a turbo boost though.

My bike is just over 2 months and is past 4k on the odo.

So that gets us back to square one, the most difficult part of the G2G. Where do we ride to ???

Check the weather trackside beforehand. If the track is wet, you might want to reconsider.

BTW, any suggestions for us regarding the destination for the Sunday ride?

Haven't been tracking this thread lately, but here are a few suggestions.

-Why don't you head up Yelagiri.NH7/NH46 for the most part of it, enough roads to satiate the need for speed.

-On similar lines DD Hills is there. Mostly good roads till Tumkur. Just need to clear Neelamangala.

-Kunigal to Magadi road stretch is there.

-If speed is not the order of the day, head down to Muthati. Cauvery would be nicely bloated with the recent rains.

-Or if you wanna ride longer but again speed is not necessary, Shivanasamudram is there too.

-Lots more places, but the want for speed will narrow down your options quite a bit.

EDIT: Kudos to all the guys who are keeping Bangalore xBhp alive. Really good to see people taking the initiative and making a much desired racket around here.

U can ride towards hogenakkal falls.

Or u can ride towards tumkur via nice road. About 20 - 30 km from tumkur there are 2 or 3 small hills.

                here are some pics...

@others: you can go via NICE to avoid Neelamangala. That place is still a mess..

                          • As usual the all the riders MUST have proper riding gear .
Helmets - Knee guards - gloves - jacket - shoes.
                            suggestions from praful :
                            Few Pointer:-
                            - Hydrate yourself adequately. Its going to be very hard on your body!
                            - Make sure all nuts and bolts are tightened on your bike, a single track day is very very hard on the bike. Preferably run the bike on new engine oil.
                            - Don't time yourself, do race with anyone else!
                            - You don't have to prove anything. Go easy!
                            - For your first time just concentrate on getting your body position right and try get some decent entry/exit speeds.
                            - You're not Rossi, you will not get the race line the first time around, so don't try to do too much in the too little time that you have
                            - Give way to fasters riders.
                            - It is very EASY to crash on the track, have that thought in your mind.
                            - A well rested body is absolutely necessary before hitting the track.

                            something from Ninja :

                            3) If the brake pads/liners are nearing the end of their life, better get them replaced

                            4) Carry LOTS of duct/insulation tape-you will be asked to cover all glass parts like headlamp and tail-light assembly and indicators to prevent them from shattering in case of a crash

                            From Nagoo :
                            3. do some practise runs at slow speed @around 60-70kmph .. before showing off rossi in u.
                            4. study the track well

                            from me :
Slow speed is better than high speed in the first time u ride on the track.
Cornering is not the all on the track in the first time. safety is the most important thing.
