  • HoooAaaah !!! We had an awe-freaking-some ride yesterday.

Three xbhp riders, tulinisarg, Ark and myself, met at Madivala precisely at 5am. We waited till around 5.45am for anyone else who would join but no one turned up. I couldnt check this thread for anymore confirmations and kinda knew that it would be just the three of us.

So after admiring each others bikes for the nth time and a quick discussion on Ark's new jewellery for his baby, the Puig sliders, we headed to Krishnagiri A2B. The "no service today" sign greeted us just like any other day. We left madivala by 5.45 am.

Traffic was light surprisingly except for a few trucks that were pottling along all over the road.

We reached A2B Krishnagiri by 6.30-6.45 am (almost under an hour) and after a quick breakfast we were wondering where to head to.

Decided to check out the Krishnagiri dam and we headed that way. We took the road that led to the top of the dam, parked the bikes and it was so peaceful. Not a soul in sight except for one or two people who were employed by the dam authorities. Chilled out for a while, took in the cool air and the calm that was all around. The water stretched for quite a few kms and it was so calm and peaceful. The weather was cloudy and i could see my green babe gleaming. I guess the other ninja and the R15 were cosying up to her. It was a romantic sight all right. Yamaha and Ninja's lovingly parked next to each other The bikes were parked facing the water and it reminded me of a couple sitting and whispering sweet nothings to each other. LOL.

So we decided to ride a lil more. This was too short a ride. I was recovering from a flu and had a bad sore throat and body ache, but the ride was making me better and my body ache was going away. Guess the muscles on my arms and legs needed some stretching. We thought we'll ride another 50km and turn back.

So we did another 50kms and still felt unsatiated. Yeh dil maange more and we rode on till we were just 40 kms outside Salem. We had a nice ride on the twisties and headed back towards Blore.

Stopped at CCD Krishnagiri, tanked up on premium fuel for the bikes and on coffee and sandwiches for ourselves. It was 11.30 am. The ride back was very spirited with speeds ranging between 120 and 140kph. We even got stuck for over 30 mins at a village that had a political party visiting them. In spite of all this we were doing very good time. The last ride we did, we clocked the same amount of miles and reached the very same CCD on our return trip at 1.30pm. So after our coffees and sadwiches, we headed to blore and at Electronics City we bid goodbye's to each other (till the next weekend) and headed to our respective homes. I reached home at 1.30pm and was feeling great. Clocked a total of 380 kms and totally enjoyed the ride.

Hats off and a BIG Thank You to Ark and Nirasg for always being so ever-ready to join me on a ride even on short notice. I had a super time riding with you guys and hope you did too. Looking forward to riding with you again on the weekend

Edit - sorry guys, I forgot my cam, so no pics. Ark managed some with his cell phone so i guess it'll be up if the quality is good enough.

120-140kph would have been too much for my bike if I joined in.
I would have been snailing to meet you guys on your way back to electronic city

Anyways..the ride seems to be very nice yesterday !

C'mon dude there is nothing like too fast or too slow...
If you come along then speed gets adjusted as per that but the keyword is "if we join".!

And yes these rides are awesome as always!!
