Personally, Id rather just be on my guard than depend on gear, though you never know when your luck can go wrong. But if I wait around to get riding gear to my satisfaction, I wont be able to do any rides anytime soon.

No offense taken. Even I wouldnt like to get myself into the mess of cleaning up after another. Maybe another time then. Have fun.

Thanks for understanding mate. Please never under-estimate the requirement of safety gear. You might be riding fine, what about the idiots on the road? See the idiot thread for more details

Date : 26th January 2011 (Wednesday)

Destination : YERCAUD (1 Day Ride)

Total Distance : ~500 kms (to and fro)

Meeting Point : Wipro Madivala (next to Madivala Police Station, Near Total Mall, Madivala)

Meeting Time: 5.30 am IST.

We will leave at 5.45 am sharp.

Confirmed Riders : Tentative Riders :
1. eagle_f1 (Shoaib) - Karizma
2. Ark (Reggie) - Ninja 250R
3. Bluevolt (Rahul) - Ninja 250R
4. scorcher (ramkumar) - RTR 180 ABS

Please note :

Mandatory requirements (Non Negotiable):

1. Drivers License with vehicle documents.

2. Riding jacket with built in armor or thick jacket with separate body armor.

3. Gloves

4. Protective armor like knee guards, elbow guards, etc.

5. Riding pants or thick full length trousers / jeans

6. Boots that cover the whole feet and preferably the ankle area too.

7. No aggressive riding behavior. This is NOT a race. We ride for fun.

Please note that I wont be online for the rest of the evening, so see you at the meeting point tomorrow morning.

I'm sick of mysore road bro. A2B is a good option although we just did that stretch 2 days back. Anyway, i'm tentative for this weekend.

Seems like I missed a nice ride to Yercaud. Waiting for the pics.

Anyways, was thinking of riding down to Pondicherry on 11-Feb/ 12-Feb. The weather seems just right for that place. Anyone game? We'll keep it a 2-3 day ride. No same day return business, plizzzz.
