Tentative Location: Somewhere in KL (Maybe Wayanad/Munnar), Valparai (If we have 3 days), Ooty

hey guys....i would be joining infosys Mysore in june/july.....so just wanted to know if we are allowed with bikes on infosys campus and would it be feasible to get the bike parceled to mysore or drive it all the way from Mumbai......i meant what would be more practical......

Yes you can bring bikes in the campus..(Are you joing in as a trainees??)

For courier services , get it done with Gati services and get a nice bubble packing.. they will charge you around a max. of 3k or so.. i suppose the rates are Rs. 20 /kg or so..

but if you can ride thru the distance .. 1100 kms odd.. nothing like it and you will have a good log to share with us too.

considering the weight 149kg * 20 it will easily out do the 3 k budget + will require additional 200-300 bucks for bubble packing + there would always be a tension of those people handling my bike + 2-3 days waiting for the bike to get delivered....

whereas if i drive it all way through petrol nearly 1200 bucks + will reach even before the train reaches.....+ 200 bucks other expenses....

and 1100 kms doesnt seem too tiring considering a good 850 kms recent trip done in 11.5 hrs...riding sanely....

Since 26th Jan is a holiday on account of Republic Day, I was thinking of going for a one day long ride. I have been postponing a ride to Yercaud and this looks like a perfect day to honor the long pending visit.

Anyone interested in joining me, please confirm.

I plan to leave early in the morning and return late in the evening. Total distance (to and fro) is under 500 kms.

If anyone has better suggestions on the destination please share.
