Hey guys,

Are we going to Krishnagiri on friday night & what time??

Hi guys...the plan seems good !
But wont be joining you guys this time, may join u guys in some g2g planned within the city. Also, since i am new to bangalore, dont even have a simple jacket as of now...forget the riding ones.

Please see below. If we have to go to Krishnagiri, we will have to leave past midnite so we dont run into buses on the way. I'm also not comfortable with a group of riders at different speeds and skill levels riding in the midst of crazed volvo's. Lets do the K'giri trip some other time.

Rendezvous at Wipro Madivala (like last Friday) before we head to Mandya. Meeting time will be posted by tomorrow afternoon.

EDIT : Please ensure you wear appropriate riding gear for your safety.

1. Helmets - Mandatory.

2. Riding jacket - Mandatory - At least a thick jacket is a must if one does not have a riding jacket with armor.

3. Shoes - Mandatory and should cover the feet completely. Ensure the laces are tucked inside the shoe so it does not get entangled with the gearshift lever or the rear brake lever. (it's happened to me once earlier and it was nasty).

4. Full Length pants - Mandatory - jeans or cargo's or any pants made from thick durable material.

5. Knee guards - recommended.

Please also carry your vehicle documents and other necessary papers like insurance, Emission control certificate, Drivers license (mandatory) etc.

hey aditya, have you bought that air pump you were talking about?

id like some details if you know... like what is the form factor, portability and price... im intrested in permanently keeping one along with the puncture repair kit in my "touring backpack".

i already have a foot pump but i feel its to heavy... and it would be troublesome keeping it in a backpack and taking it along where ever i go.

I might go and take a look on Saturday.

I dont think i really need one... at least for now. If i do have a puncture I can ride till a bunk, repair the tire, fill air and continue. I might pick it up only if I intend to do night rides over long distances which is very unlikely right now. Nevertheless will keep you posted.

BTW, I heard about the rear wheel-lock at the ghats. Hope that you are doing fine. What is the state of your 220? I hope that you will be able to overcome the mental block and hit the tarmac soon with the same zeal.

sure man give me a ring anytime, i am always up for hanging around with bikers this saturday morning, i am probably going to CV Raman nagar to meet a couple of Xbhpians, i am taking some cords for them too. and also need to talk about a prospective relatively new headlight assembly of a 220. but i guess i will be back soon. so other than that i am pretty much free all the time. that utensils guy has loads of them, so you will get choice too. And about the crash, we will talk more when we meet
