At xBhp, we have all been travellers at heart for as long as we can remember. Exploring new places on motorcycles is something that we love doing and want to keep doing for as long as possible. That alone is enough to mark World Tourism Day as an important day for us. What made it better was the ride that we took up.

Before we talk about the ride itself, let us talk about the rides that made it special. On one hand, we had the Suzuki Hayabusa, a legend in its own right that needs no introduction. The one that ended the speed war and began a new one, the mighty falcon is a special motorcycle. Riding alongside it, we had the latest evolution of the motorcycle that changed it all for the Indian motorcycle market- Pulsar.

Astride the Hayabusa and the Pulsar F250, we were on our way to Agra for a meetup in association with UP Tourism. We started in the evening from Noida and despite some photography breaks in between, we reached Agra by around 8 PM. Our stay was arranged by UP Tourism at Double Tree by Hilton. A warm welcome and a smooth check-in later, we decided to check up on the venue and the arrangements. Finding them all to be in order, we headed back to our hotel. The venue was Shilpgram, Taj Mahal (East Gate) and the organizers had done a great job of setting everything up for the event. The ride was to start from the UP Tourism office post which the cavalcade would ride to Shilpgram.

The next morning we reached the gathering point to find a great turnout. We were also joined by District Magistrate, Mr Navneet Singh Chahal and Mr Avinash Mishra, Joint Director, UP Tourism. After being flagged off by Mr Navneet Singh Chahal, the ride covered four heritage sites in the city, Sikandra, Itmad-ud-Daula, Mehtab Baug, and Agra Fort. The ride concluded at Shilpgram, where the bikers were addressed by Mr Avinash Mishra.

While the day’s ride ended here, we were at the venue again for a panel discussion to rethink tourism. We were joined by various senior officials of UP Tourism, along with the GM of Hilton Hotel representing the hospitality industry. The panel discussion was also joined by the famous actor, model, and Mr World, Thakur Anoop Singh, with other well-known social media content creators.
