      I booked mine for 15k. There is no compulsion. Anything above 10 will do. If they are trying to squeeze the down payment out of you, stick it to them.
      Step 1: Get in position
      Step 2: Pay the booking amount

              Firstly:Secondly:
              "usually expensive"
              No! It's not "usually expensive". We Indians are getting it at the cheapest price than anywhere else. Less than Half the price:
              UK -> 4,500.00 GBP = 427,674.90 INR
              Netherlands -> 5,449.00 EUR = 444,538.06 INR

              So, what were you talking about we getting it expensive?

              "second priority"
              And No! we did not get second priority. Infact almost all showrooms in India have already offered test rides and it is only from this week that the bikes are starting to reach UK and other European countries where they can finally take a test ride!

              Bajaj is not willfully not giving you the bike. There is just not enough bikes being produced because of the strike. Simple as that. Somebody was saying something about not making atleast 50 bikes a day? Bajaj has already shipped close to 100 bikes to all the showrooms in India for display/test when other countries got nay! That doesn't count or what?

                Bro everyone has to pay the total sum of 2 lakhs. Think of it this way - when taking the delivery you have to pay 20k less.

                    Its in Chennai right? Doesn't make sense for them to ask this much amount for a booking. Well you could always go to a different dealer.

                      Dealer is trying to rip you off. Well not technically but the KTM Agreement is only 30K. Ask him to show you the KTM Agreement. Either ways, I think he just wants to make sure you are going to buy it. At the end of the day, whether you pay Rs.100 or Rs.100,000 as booking amount, you still have to pay a total of ~2.1L for delivery.

                                Dude, I've booked in Mogappair. The booking is only 30K. If you go for Finance, then your down-payment will be 70K.

                                I think you must have misunderstood.
                                Honda Dio (Sold) | Yamaha FZ16 (Sold) | Duke 390 | Kawasaki Z800 (Technically it's my brother's, but WTH ;P) |

                                1. Start the engine; 2. Turn the trottle; 3. Disappear ;)
