I have created a group "KTM Duke 390 Hyderabad owners group" on facebook. You can add yourself to it if you wish.

There is existing KTM owners group but that is not specific to 390.

I know few other guys who are waiting for the delivery.

Even KTM Begumpet said that deliveries will be at end of this month. But they said earlier that it will be July 2nd week, then July end, then August first week and now end of this month.

So the first Duke 390 has also been delivered now in Mumbai from KTM South Mumbai Showroom. As per telecon of Mohit ahuja with the showroom executive 2 bikes were ready for delivery there. Out of which 1 has been alloted to Mr. Ariz M. Kohli of the KTM Duke 390 Mumbai Owners Club.

Cheers to him and atleast now we can have the ownership thread for our Orange Monster !

Seems like a storm after all the silence and boredom, people started to receive the delivery??? Good news.

@MG: The KTM India website says "390 Duke now in India" and also mentions "Clutch - Wet multi-disc clutch / hydraulically operated." Is it cable operated or hydraulically operated? Kindly help explain if possible.

Next is my plan of designing the number plate for the 390 while it reaches me. I am for sure going to remove the saree guard, rear tyre hugger, and the knuckle guards while I take the delivery. Inquired the dealer and he quotes 7000 INR for the one in Austrian release pictures, I do not think it is a tail tidy. The regular embossed "IND" plates are all over and no more a premium. Can anyone suggest something different and unique? Thanks for your help in advance.

Congratulations Praful!!! Do post your initial ownership and long term review. Do you use it for your daily commute to work? Bangalore traffic during peak hour is bad. Do give your feedback if you do.

This was just a test ride

(Not even booked one yet, might do so in a few months time)

But I'd rather not commute on this and keep the 220 for all purposes except touring. This thing is MANICAL FAST ... I blinked my eye and it was already at 90 something!!!

I get cooked on the D200 in peak traffic to work, 390 would just might as well cremate me
