Guys .. How much for booking an FZ16 ?

It ranges from 5-10k depending on the dealer. I booked mine for 5k

"Mileage kya hai ??"

The dealers confirmed a mileage of 50 kmpl in city riding conditions. Haven't met any FZ owner to confirm the fact. With those fat bad a** rear tyres, I wonder if it would get a mileage as claimed. But still, its a Yamaha.... Chances are that it would live up to its credibilities as the Street King .

I got my beast yesterday.. mine is RED colour.. today i collected Registration slip, Insurance papers & Tax Invoice. am yet to collect bike manual & toolkit..srinivas told me that they will give manual & toolkit on Monday..

this is pathetic service man.. actually they should have handed over all the related docs & manuals on the delivery date only.. i never faced these types of issues with HONDA & HERO HONDA..

the profile of the tyre is much thinner than the ones you see in the pulsars... the tyre is wider but thinner... so the overall weight of the tyre is lesser than it seems to be...

I felt FZ loosing power after 7K on RPM meter.
And vibes are begining from 4K RPM and through all the RPMs.....Is this problem only with the bike that I had test ride...OR any other expereiences???

may be its cos the bike didnt complete the run-in probably

today ,there is an ad on local newspaper(manorama) from PSN yamaha,kochi that they are giving the first 51 "Lords of the streets" FZ-16 .

run in period?

hey guys ...can u tel me whats the speed limit for d run in period? n is the period 1000 kms?

FZ owners... Where are your replies??? I guess you all are quite enticed with the bike and dont find time to type a few letters on the keyboard..

check your user manual... the period depends on the bike and manufacturer... and its not the speed that matters in the run in period, its the RPM...

That would be the word to use at this point of time. The dealer in here is not giving away the bike, the bike had arrived to my town by Tuesday evening and said that he would distribute it by Thursday. But when I went to the showroom he said that it had been postponed to Friday as Thursday is not an auspicious day, this has been continuing and now he says that he would be delivering the bike only by Sunday.

I dont know what is happening, this is sick and they are seriously pissing me off.

One more thing is that they have got around 9 bikes and two are already doing test duty and they have only two red ones in the lot and one is a test bike and the other is a display piece. As i have booked a red one i am bemused as to which bike i would get the one used by others with the engine in bad shape or the one with scratches all over it.

Yamaha guys if you are seeing this this is serious as I have lobbied a lot to pay the money in cash for the past few days by leaving no stones unturned as my finances have gone wrong this time around.

My dealer is CAG Enterprises and i have paid the full amount to them.
