I'm going for the 55W HID this time around. And planning to change the Speedo Colour to dark RED this time around.

according to me a modded bike is a sign of an unsatisfied owner..performance mods can only harm the bike in every possible way.
    .
Would OEM mods brought by KTM will confirm to same thought process as well? What about OEM sprocket kits, performance exhausts etc?

Well , I prefer only those mods that do not harm the bike a lot...like better tyres...weight reduction...K&N filters...etc etc

And i dont consider tyres as performance mods...its for my own safety... Next in line would be stiffer clutch springs which also increases the wheel horse power... Modding a ride is immense fun...the fun of whopping the @$$es of bigger bikes with smaller bikes is immense... Which is more fun to you and insulting to your opponent.....Smoking a cbr250 witht duke or smoking a cbr250 with a 200ns..?(just an example) then the cbr guy with curse himself after reaching home its fun to watch small bikes taking on big bikes...
P.S. My friends modded apache rtr160 can eat a 220 for dinner till 90... and its just with a local (underbelly) exhaust... Anyone interested in pics? I can post it

Actually, saying that K&N damages your engine will be misleading. The problem with K&N is that there are lot myth surrounding it. I did used K&N for about 10K Kms before I removed it. But I had never installed it for performance, but specifically for riding in Ladakh (above 10,000ft msl). Lot of issues pertaining to K&N are due to how they are installed, and what their buyer expect them from, but that's altogether a different story for another thread.

yes the k&n part is very controversial... Actually i told k&n harms the engine because most people dont upjet and ending up running lean and damaging the engine.. Then k&n needs washing and oiling but i haven't come across a single person who does that...
Anyways keep us updated about hid and console... Actually if i get a red bike i'll change meter to red and will change to blue if a get a blue one... Btw will a 55w hid run all day without battery draining even in low rpm....

Also how about light mods (same as that of the bike) on the net type openings of the side pannels?? I have seen one on You-tube for a P220, and it looked good.

Yes, true, I haven't seen anybody recharging the K&N as well!

I have installed the Volt Metre, just to make sure that 55W HID's shouldn't create a problem. The best part is that it will not. 200NS has 8AH VRLA battery and with that the Regulator feeds a constant 14.6 Volts even at Idle RPM! So, theoretically, even with a dead battery, the magneto can provide enough initial power to the battery so that it the HIDs can draw enough initial current, and then the HIDs can run off the magneto coil alone!

Buddy, since u have modded with an xtra horn, so I assume ur warranty is now Void..
Now If the Oil Pressure sensor comes out to be faulty, then will they replace it under warranty???

For a known issue, it's not a problem. Too many mods, might irk them, rest Bajaj never creates a problem with warranty as such, especially if the wiring is intact.

But, the video i saw was modded with Orange colour on a Black 220, which was fitted on the net type openings of the Half fairing, and right below the fuel tank, focusing on the engine..HID was also installed
The Video shows a BMW in the garage as well.

horn mod is in my list also... Svc wont create issues if you buy the new horn from that svc only....

those mods are coming out after manufaturer's r&d and nobody knows the machine more than the manufacturer , so it is a safe bet ....
