exactly same feeling... The alloys dont go with the bike.. And IMO the tank extentions are too big...a bit smaller one could have been better... The rear panel dont go with the theme as well... The stance of the bike when looked from side is kinda odd... Still i miss the earlier 200 a lot... What i have seen is not many people ar fan of the ns looks... There is too much 135 in it... Btw how much does the steel braided brakes lines of the duke cost? Specially the front one..

they could have done so much better and different with the rear end of ns . . the tail seaction and tail lamps should have been completely different as this represents a whole new breed of pulsars . . it would also easily differentiate it from the other pulsars.. right now only true bikers are able to recognise it as NS from behind .. i personally dont like its headlight mask ..Originally posted by Rahulbarik View Posthahahaha

yeah man the made the bike look like 135... Different tail light would have been better... I didn't like a few things at the front..Originally posted by Rohan200ns View Postthey could have done so much better and different with the rear end of ns . . the tail seaction and tail lamps should have been completely different as this represents a whole new breed of pulsars . . it would also easily differentiate it from the other pulsars.. right now only true bikers are able to recognise it as NS from behind .. i personally dont like its headlight mask ..

1. the headlight is quite flat..
2. The numberplate holder facing towards god and protruding out
3. The mudguard is overdone...love the centre black portion but simply hate the sides...
I need steel braided lines for ns...then i think i have to stick to the idea of fooling a 220 ownes and exchanging his cable

I'm not exactly fan of how NS looks, but indeed it's one the most handsome naked bikes around. In fact Duke and NS are the most handsome Indian naked bikes. I don't count FZ here because, I don't like the radiator shrouds, where there's none.Originally posted by Rohan200ns View Postthey could have done so much better and different with the rear end of ns . . the tail seaction and tail lamps should have been completely different as this represents a whole new breed of pulsars . . it would also easily differentiate it from the other pulsars.. right now only true bikers are able to recognise it as NS from behind .. i personally dont like its headlight mask ..

Any idea how much a new one costs...?Originally posted by rahuldevnath View PostIn simple terms to have the economies of scale at the same time sharing the cues from older Pulsars. In my opinion:
I am fine with that.. at least it looks like a PulsarOriginally posted by Rahulbarik View Postyeah man the made the bike look like 135... Different tail light would have been better...
No issues here again..Originally posted by Rahulbarik View PostI didn't like a few things at the front..
1. the headlight is quite flat..
It is better than having the front plate plasted on the top (uglier)Originally posted by Rahulbarik View Post2. The numberplate holder facing towards god and protruding out
I love it actually.. gives it a BMW R1200GS look.. is built very solid tooOriginally posted by Rahulbarik View Post3. The mudguard is overdone...love the centre black portion but simply hate the sides...

i have simply no problem with the built quality... Its more than enough what we are getting at that price and thats the reason i booked it...Originally posted by payeng View PostIn my opinion:

and actually hate te number plate because it protudes out skywards. Would have been better if it was fitted like the oldes pulsars... And looks is subjective...
Btw any idea how much steel braided brake hose of the 220 costs? This Tail Is Japani Tail (spell as you like)

Not breaking the law, but I have removed the front number plate for now.Originally posted by Rahulbarik View Posti have simply no problem with the built quality... Its more than enough what we are getting at that price and thats the reason i booked it...

I'm not sure about the cost, but should be around 400-500 bucks at max!Been There, Done That; Better!

The reason is simple; else the number plate will hit the mudguard. To make bike look sportier, manufacturers design headlamp fairing to be very low. In NS, they read carefully through the law, to ensure that the deflection, would still be under law at the same time allowing the number plate at the lower part of assembly rather than on the face, like other few sports bike around.Originally posted by Hiteshjain6188 View PostYup i couldn't understand the purpose of front number plate facing heavens,,
is there a way to set it right, has anyone done that?Been There, Done That; Better!

The RTO does that even on the Hayabusa !!! - Sad Indian traffic rules, and it cannot even control the indiscipline on the roads.Originally posted by payeng View PostIt is better than having the front plate plasted on the top (uglier)
But there is always the workaround of mud guard pasted number stickers.........preferred and used by most Superbikers and sports bikers.Hell's Angel

and even i dont like the idea of a front number plate on a bike... Its useless... Now they will ask riders to tatoo their but with their names...
cops in kolkata catch bikes with numbers stickered on front mud guard...
i'll try fitting it behind the headlight mask... The honeymoon period for the cops will start from september 1st in kolkata since puja is just around the corner... They get extra target to beat during this two months..
Target = catch bikers and fine them... They have a quota every month...which doubles during puja..
So i wont remove my front number now...
