FACEOOK LS2 OFFICIAL PAGE HAS REPLIED,LS2 OFFICIAL HAVE ADMITTED THEIR MISTAKE

Vikas Arourawhy is LS2 a reputed company giving false information,as per Sharp safety UK govt scheme the FF 351 model has received just 1 star safety rating but your company claims it has got 4 stars and is printed in your brochures as well

LS2 Helmets OficialHi Vikas,
We apologize for all the problems this new Sharp Helmets test rating is causing you. Since FF351 is almost the same as FF350, LS2 expected the same rating, that's why the company printed its label and 2014 brochures with the four star rating. We are bewildered about FF351 Sharp rating and we are working to solve it as soon as possible.

I own a FF350 chrono model. Inside the padding on the left ear side, there is a sticker with the model name, manufactured/imported year & 'Made in China'.

So as per [MENTION=15693]princesirohi[/MENTION] interview with Mr Anil Gupta in page 1, My lid is from china & it's somewhat original but does not meet ece certification. It does have the strap sticker.

if I recollect correctly from earlier posts, made in china is not fake, price & quality ought to be on the lower side by a margin.

"Made in China" sticker does not mean that it is fake helmet, all LS2 helmets are made in china only.

Only if there is something written in chinese language, then only it means that that the helmet is not meant for Indian Market and is not ECE certified.

I'm also worried about the same problem that mine has no DOT or ISI embossed on it . . Bought it from an un authorised shop of LS2 , no difference in the price as in site of Ls2 for the model. Also missing some features that as it has no net like thing on the mouth of the helmet to cover the space between neck and the mouth of the helmet , it will result to entering of dust and rain while riding. ..has no proper ventilation system. No sign of made , one of my friend has the same helmet with all the features missing from mine and approved DOT , only one thing better that mine is not heavier than his lid. Will it be ok to use these un certified lid in public

this is a serious issue,they have been cheating the customers for a long time , sadly our govt is not intersted in motorcycling department.
Isnt there any law against cheating the customers by selling products with wrong information printed on it

your helmet looks doubtful, kindly post clear pics from all possible angles, from all sides, and top and bottom also, also mention the model number, and post clear pic of the tag on retention strap.

The lid is bought from ernakulam..model no: ff 358... celtic

LS2 does not have any authorized shop in ernakulam.
LS2 FF358 model is not displayed on official LS2 India Website.
Still you can find some FF358 on www.acebiker.com website, which is the official online sale chaneel for LS2 in India.
even on www.acebiker.com, it is mentioned that it is of "ECE standard", it is not clearly written that it is ECE certified, whereas for other models, it is clearly written that its "ECE certified".
Even the helmet does not have ECE sticker or label.

we can conclude that although it is not purchased from authorized LS2 shop, it may be original, however it is as good as any local helmet in terms of protection, since it does not carry any certification. it is not ECE / DOT / SHARP / SNELL / ISI certified.

it is a substandard helmet, and you are wearing it at your own risk.

My suggestion, is that get a better helmet ASAP.
