This hella unit is what many tourers here will die for - just check out that piercing hi beam down a long road!

If you want some spread, go for the Lucas unit.

Relays will protect your bike's wiring and switches from melting down due to the 100W load.

You did not tell me about the current at 2k rpm with h/l on!

As Bullet is a low revving machine, rewinding won't help much bcz thicker the gauge ull get low current at low revvs. (Correct me Abhi)

    Firstly why do u want 2 HID's
    Correct!

As for 2 HIDs, 1 is more than enough!

^ The newer bulls comes with full DC electricals right from the factory. You can use the electricals from them.

Abhijeet, I'm not entirely sure which parts you mean by OEM parts? Can you please clarify

Do I need to put anything (adhesive etc) when winding the coil?

Am planning to rip open all the wires and except the ignition coil and its wiring (hope it doesn't connect anywhere else) and start winding.

From what I've understood, I need to solder both the ends of the coil wire to grey wires of APE RR and the APE RR's yellow/black to +/- of battery directly.
Also, I have a TAFE SP5LB battery which I assume is a 5V battery. Should I get a better battery as well? Any idea how much time the winding can take?

In all pics its OSRAM 100/90 bulb. Costs around 100 bucks. For the 3rd and 4th pic, used a mobile cam, hence the distortion.

please abhijeet can you share your 100watt headlight night photo here so can get idea of it.
how much current requred at 2000rpm for 100watt Dc setup??
i share my photos here tomorow, and i got relay at rs 120!!! and connector rs35.
    it has 6 connectors,which shown as L1 T1 L2
    S1 T2 S2

so how to connect that wire?? ithink T1 is red so its main goes to battry,T2 black obviously graund,L1 for light 1 and L2 is light 2 so how to connect that on upper dipper??and S1 and S2 to which switch????
I have some pics in my album here. Check in my profile. Its from a lumax.

About the relay, I dont have much idea. I can only help if I know which wires go to the relay switch and which to the relay coil.

Yes it should be along with some wiring modifications thrown in.
