  • i know i started this "cribbing thread" but i can agree with the fact that things are changing and we are evolving into better riders/drivers, the best example is right here ie. XBHP and all other automobile forums which enable people like us talk to each other and share experiences and problems to help find solutions.

well.... may be according to them " hand is more important bhaiyya as it will come in 'handy' while they enjoy their moment alone ( if you know what i mean ). What is this head worth( and they are right, since is it empty anyway) "
This reminds me of an interview I saw on the TV few years back. When the Kerala Government strictly enforced the helmets rule, the various TV channels interviewed bikers to get their opinion.
One of the riders said he strongly opposes the wearing of the helmet. Reason was ( listen to this ) " My friends on the roadside will not recognise me riding with the helmet on". Many of us Malayali's have seen this Interview.

      Any comments?

        • Our Traffic Sense.

I am attaching a few shots taken by me. BTW I have posted these pictures on Team-BHP as well. Sorry for low quality of Camera Phone Pics. BTW a Traffic Police man daily goes around a few times on a "Tiger" and fines those parking at the "No Parking" Sign. ( He knows where to catch them). Makes a lot of money for the Traffic dept. daily at this particular spot.
          Comments are welcome.

            • great idea of posting pics, maybe we can post pics of faulty drivers and all those breaking laws and all if possible.

also we can post pics to appreciate some people doing good stuff for ex. wearing a helmet+gears and following rules.

this could encourage people to do the right thing.

I'm sure you would have pointed out (or at least tried to) that the lady was riding on the wrong side. Also, someone who was looking in your direction ma have seen that it was not your fault.

You did what you could. Those A**es who were after your life can go f*** themselves.

                      • Do we need to say anything on this..after all we are in India..earlier I use to feel pissed off with all such kind of situation..doling out my love for their sisters and mothers..but then I felt..that we are the lucky ones..to be in India..where you can anytime anywhere cross the road by bringing the complete traffic to a halt..tell me possible anywhere in world..??

this is life dude..look towards the flexibility factor you get in India in terms of traffic..never mind..think positive be positive..

Yesterday a freak accident reported from kerala:-
A guy riding a scooter was stopped on the road ( Safety Measure) as a tree was being cut in a compound. The cut tree fell on a electric line resulting in an concrete electric pole collapsing. This pole fell on the rider waiting for clearance and killed him on the spot.

Wear your safety gear and ride safely. ( And ofcourse pray )

But if you see the accidents caused by errand private bus operators in kerala its alarming. They race amongst themselves to collect the max number of passengers.

                              • One day i was happily cruising after getting the bike serviced. While returning back home, on a right curve an erring Car driver comes out of nowhere from the opposite direction to cross the road. I took a Sharp left and cut the car to avoid a crash. When i went back to him to ask, that Bastard tried to dominate me, since i was the one driving a bike and wearing a so called Fancy helmet, and slapped me hard in infront of everyone even after knowing that he was at fault. I was so pissed off that i hit him with my helmet on his forehead so hard that his forehead started to bleed, in front his family members. I took the photograph of him and his car and gave it to the Police station nearby. Dont know what happened after that as i never got a call from the Police station.
