If the crash involves a boy and a elder (of any sex) , then the boy is at mistake
If the crash involves a boy and a boy, then GOD KNOW WHY THE GOVERNMENT GIVES LICENSES TO BOTH THE GOOONDAS!

If the accident involves only a boy all by himself, SEE I TOLD YOU THESE GOONDAS TRYING STUNTS ON ROADS!

If the accident involves only a girl all by himself, Poor thing, she couldnt control the vehicle!

The Jazzier looking bike\rider is the one to blame!

Its a crazy but simple to understand logic.... so!

And somebody said something about girls driving skills, I have quite a few experiences!
I was riding all well kitted to my college a good 3 years ago, when a Santro came and halted near me at a signal... the driver is a nice looking cute girl! ... and a quick glance later I know its time to fire up the bike as the signal would go green in about 15 seconds... and heck I cant lift my left leg to drop the gear....!
Courtesy: the girls car tyre were ON my freaking leg!!! And I look at her in disgust and she gives a smile.... and I point at my legs and she goes! Oh so sorry! and she has the balls (err nevermind) to say Sorry and stare at it!!!! I was like! M-O-V-E the damn thing off my toes!!!!!!

I was pretty lucky to have been wearing those army boots (worth Rs 150 ) with steeltoes!!!!

Anyways just wanted to know how many of 'us' have popped the middle finger every time someone screws up as in the high beam glare, or a mad honking session, signal jumping case, crazy maneuvers et all!

and how many of 'us' bothered to give a thumbs up for something done sanely? like allowing you to pass ahead, give a valid signal in case of a potential hazard etc etc

heck, how many of us have bothered to help or guide fellow riders\drivers about basic safety checks, or even at times of a crash....

Ofcourse its much more easier to crib and add to that insanity... and proudly proclaim that this is India... Yes this is India, and its is like that.... and sadly even we are not helping it much!

So maybe next time, be good, spot the better ones and show some respect, coz what goes around, comes around!

good thought there bruv...not sure about the thumbs up thing, however, i do practice the mid finger thingy when someone comes with high beams on on a road with no streetlight, someone honks madly, someone takes me by surprise by taking a left turn with inches to spare!!!

and if i see the desi cabbies or the truck drivers, the mid finger sign takes the desi version with a couple of desi abuses

    • Giving the middle finger to a total stranger is the last thing you wanna do
its not at all advisable in india.I have seen bad things happen to people
who lose temper that quickly.Try to walk away avoiding trouble as much as possible if it comes to a point where its too late to do that then remember these words by G.W bush:BRING IT ON.

A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.

Always be ready (get geared) to fall and then think of sitting on the motorcycle.

In that process scratch the side of the car or knock off your side view mirrors. (I have lost Side view mirrors a few times.)

Well,i do this occasional....squeezing through the gaps at halt, but with utmost care..i have never touched a car while doing this till now (touch wood)

                2) If you leave the same gap in front of your car then these guys will squeeze through your left side or the right side ( whichever is applicable )and then squeeze through you front to the other side. Ok when one guy does it then others follows him. Possible damage to your front bumper + damage to the Rear bumper of the car in front of you.

In both the above cases leave enough space on the sides and front or none at all.
                Same as above
                3) I have seen riders screaming away carrying a helmet, not on their heads but on the handle bar.

Yes..i have seen this a lot of times here in Kerala too,its so stupid and they put on the helmet while riding when they spot a cop
                4) At the traffic signals, if there is no space on the left side of the road, they casually climb the foot path and ride away.

oh yes..i see this almost everyday on the way to my class...

                5) They don't wait for the light to turn green, when the count down timer reaches 8 0r 7 Secs. they will start moving forward / start honking from behind you.( This is so with some 4-wheeler drivers also).

again...there is this huge signal near my class...its a T jn...ppl stop WAY ahead of the Zebra crossing which makes it hard for ppl to cross AND vehicles to turn frm other road leading to xtra traffic..stupid...they end up even in the center of the jn!!and these assholes also start moving as soon as its YELLOW! WTF?what i do is i go ahead and stop behind the zebra line in such a way that i dont allow other bikers to stop ahead and I ONLY MOVE WHEN ITS GREEN!i also give scary looks at ppl who stop their vehicles in the middle of the jn!

                Anyway..your observations are spot on!

                • btw guys is there a rule that the right lane should be used for overtaking and truckers and slower vehicles should use the left lane in india?

+1...also the government should implement strict rules & They are simply giving away the License by getting the bribe rather than keeping all the tests to the person applying for license.. They don't even test the capability of the rider as well as the driver...
