@MG: The colours are done by all Yamaha dealers I guess but as of now I have seen them only at Pacer.
Sorry guys i didn't take the pic of the entire bike in white colour. Very sorry. I have posted all the pics I have of the FZ. One of my friends spotted a white FZ in my college. I will try to click it and post it here asap.
SrinathThe rider doesn't pick the bike, the bike picks the rider

Hi all..
I have decided to go for Yamaha FZ 16. Will be goin for the classic fz Black. I live in Bangalore now. After owning a Yam RX 135 Tiger(1999) for nearly 10 years I think its time to go for a new bike. But have few queries abt the FZ.
1) Which dealer in Bangalore is the best to shop.
2) Heard we can change the panels on the tank, if yes is it advisible to get a spare panel( silver one on the new FZ -S).
3) Wats the on road price if Fz in bangalore(incl all tax and reg fee).
Thx in advance ....

Thx for all replies....
I have zeroed in on Pacer Yamaha or Bangalore wheels...
Yesterday I had been to Pacer, they have promised to deliver the Bike in one day.I would prefer Pacer as it is near to my office(EGL). It would be easier for me to service bike and all as I can drop it thr while goin to office. Would need ur advice on how good is their service and other things are....
BTW Pacer Yamaha has got some great colors to offer. They had yellow, purple and Blue on display, the white one was sold last week...

What Speed ??
Is it a problem if one does continuous riding on High Speeds?? Specially when doing a long distance journey?? Its a general question for any 150 cc Bike.
Some time back, I did a 450 KM single day ride. I maintained a speed between 100-110 KMPH for some 60 KMs and 90-100 KMPH for some 120-140 KMs. No breaks in between.
This weekend we did 250 KM one way ride (overal 500 KM) in 2 days. 2 RTRs, my Fuzzy and a 3-4 year old unicorn. We all were doing constant 90-100 for atleast 150 KMs.
The general question was, is it safe for our engines?? Since yesterday my Fuzzy is smelling.
Please suggest.

If your bike is fairly new and the smell reeks of something burning, there's nothing to worry about.Originally posted by leadpb View PostThe general question was, is it safe for our engines?? Since yesterday my Fuzzy is smelling.

Some hoses, washers etc will be emitting those fumes due to the heat.
Also, ive been told that the smell emanating from the exhaust is due to the precious metals in the cat-con heating up.
And AFAIK, 150's like the Unicorn can manage close to ton speeds all-day long. Just keep the oil topped up and your 150 will run perfectly
