bi-xenon projector's are projectors that have TWIN beam...that is high and low.

Ok cool. so i can use it with OSRAM NB.

Any idea bout cost ? any specific brand ?

Is is from Auto Queen? Lijo once told me about this. Dont know the quality of it, but looks neat as a whole. But how will u fix it on ur FZ? There should be screws for for fixing, but I would say try to fix the assy as it is and try rather spoiling the unit by trial & error.

Dude, in projectors there will be shield for both beams, for low beam shield will be closed and there by half of the opening will be restricted and high beam, the shield will be lifted up but still there will be a opening of 60-70% opening only as the solenoid which pulls the shield sits within the reflector cavity and I think thats the limitation. Ofcourse we can do some alterations to make it bit more open but I've tried it as mine is meant for my car so keeping it at pristine condition.

If its like FXR type, there will be more opening for the high beam as the solenoid is outside of the reflector and there's no limitations in opening to its max but there will also be a limit as per the DOT to make it legal. But this particular model wont come into this range as the FXR series are priced higher say around $300

U cant use an H4 in a projector thats fixed, but can u consider an H7 ONB? So that look for a P220 lens that will be suitable for an H7.

Either go for a bi xen projector or twin pod setup like Nano is using. I would say, Its the best lighting solution

besides, my high beam problem is sorted out, all it needed was a seperate relay which was absent in the wiring.
all here please understand USE RELAYS if going for HID's.

believe it or not, for high beam, projectors aren't good.
nothing can beat reflector's high beam intensity.

i just opened it up today and im posting the pics....now can i just close those 2 gaps with something for time being till im able to get a proper shroud?

i thought abt mounting the whole thing as it is but there are some complications hence going to try and mount the projectors into the FZ dome...i have couple of spare ones to test
and how is the price of 4.5k for the whole dome???overpriced?
btw do you know any place in EKM where i can get the reflectors separated?

See the size of the shield and have a look on the shield fixing assy, it sitting exactly half of the reflector.

3> rewinding coil is for DC or to increase the watts ? Avenger coil wont do ?

These are heat vents and that should not be closed. This is one of the use of shrouds. Else, light will be scattering from all sides of the OE reflector and make a mess. Try to keep the original shroud with FZ reflector so that it will give more neat look.

Cant say anything on pricing as the performance matters. But its not overpriced anyway as its a full package. Factory price will be around $25 without HID kit. I think its using a H3 bulb base right?

FXR series solenoid will be outside of the reflector dude.

Err.. I got it, P200. got mixed with others...

P220 lens is a single beam ie; low beam, plonk an ONB H7. For High beam u need to get the high beam reflector or any other good aux lamp as high beam.

Reason I suggested P220 lens bcz u were smitten by the ONB bug

Rewinding is always good even if u r going for DC conversion or not as the higher watt bulb needs more current to drive at its optimum performance. If u r going for DC setup, coil rewind is a must as the b2b city drive can end up with dead battery, being with a 55W halogen it will make it worse.

Avy coil will do but I dont like its perfomance in switching between beams as there will be a lag in lighting up in full brightness. So go for coil rewind.

Ur OE socket is a H4 so it cant be utilized, first u decide which projector and then go for the suitable bulb and socket.
