so using them on the engines having compression ratio less than 11 is simply a waste of money, nothing else.

Maybe using each alternatively is a good idea?
lately bike is giving following speed numbers :

    old >>> now
    unleaded >>> shell super
    at 4k 54 >>> 56
    at 5k 68 >>> 70

bike is giving better performance may be because of the use of primium petrol or motul 5100 or chain lube every second week...I don't which one is behind it...

Thanks, i got 15w50 for rs 395, And what is difference between Motul 300v and Motul 5100 which one is better( I mean semi synthetic and synthetic Engine oil) and which one we must use for Pulsar 180 UG4
btw Motul 300V cost is twice the 5100

Motul 300V lasts almost 5k kms easily, while 5100 has to be changed once for 2.5k to 3k kms..
The 300v is not so worth double the premium over 5100, just buy a 5100 and keep changing once in 3k.. Thats the best bet for 180.. even i do the same and bike is super happy even during hottt summer.. The smoothness even after ripping constantly at 100 plus is really astonishing.. Brilliant oil I must say..

Dear what your ODO says.. if it has crossed 2 or 3 service or more than 4k or 5k kms .. u may use FS or if you are have just completed your run-in period or say in between 2nd or 3rd service its better to stick recommended 20w50 EO or use SS EO for better engine life..

also is it the one posted here on xbhp or u got it elsewhere?

I also need the parts catalog of 180Ug3,dunno the exact of all the parts
I think i got it here, but i don't seem to have the Page 19 (101,102) corruption everybody is talking about. I do not have the parts catalogue, but i have a spares price list i got from somewhere. Unfortunately its Indonesian prices.

I can e-mail them to you, because both of them are above the max size limit for xBhp, and i dont have membership in any file hosting sites. Send me your e-mail id as a PM if you are interested.

                • How many of you are practicing 5-kicks-before-u-start with clutch depressed scheme? Believe me,it has done wonders, initially i used to neglect that step, but the difference is huge after following that step, the engine oil gets pumped up as a result the smoothness increases, before, the engine used to give a tak tak sound when climbing up a slope, but now it has vanished, its the oil distribution that makes the difference

Your CARB. may be tuned lean. Are you facing a varying RPM problem at IDLE, if yes then get the carb tuned.

instead I depress the clutch several times with chock pulled before cranking up the engine...

you mean over heating? No problem.Give some time to Motul to settle down,u can't judge anything after just riding 10km,wait for at least 50-100km,and if the problem continues then she may need carb tuning.

It's becuz you have got used to the feeling of MOTUL. if you change now to 300V you will again feel drastic difference which will be faded on 2nd refill of 300v
