Checked top speed some time ago it was 118(half leaned,moderate wind force) ,i think by completely leaning on the tank it can do 120,but i keep on hearing from fellow xbhp members about their 180's(ug3) doing 125~127 stock,although it's never a concern for me about the top speed,it is itching somewhere,my bike is tuned properly ,gives a good power output,pickup is great,mileage is around 40,then what is the problem?-------------------------------

Yes, Due to different road\atmospheric conditions the top speeds varies from place to place. Also depends on condition of bike. Your being maintained properly can touch 120+ easily. BTW, I too tried to test the top speed of bike but after touching 115kmph i found that the bike is not happy if i go for more, so slowed up.Originally posted by ceasar View PostChecked top speed some time ago it was 118(half leaned,moderate wind force) ,i think by completely leaning on the tank it can do 120,but i keep on hearing from fellow xbhp members about their 180's(ug3) doing 125~127 stock,although it's never a concern for me about the top speed,it is itching somewhere,my bike is tuned properly ,gives a good power output,pickup is great,mileage is around 40,then what is the problem?

lubing the chain will increase top end by 5Originally posted by ceasar View PostChecked top speed some time ago it was 118(half leaned,moderate wind force) ,i think by completely leaning on the tank it can do 120,but i keep on hearing from fellow xbhp members about their 180's(ug3) doing 125~127 stock,although it's never a concern for me about the top speed,it is itching somewhere,my bike is tuned properly ,gives a good power output,pickup is great,mileage is around 40,then what is the problem?
putting shell super will increase top end by 5
complete leaning will increase top end by 10
get reduced by 30 kg will definitely increase top end by 15...
not kidding
..
please please do things above and check it again
Well the bike is supposed to start in any gear with clutch depressedOriginally posted by abhichotu.abhi View PostA new strange problem:
"The bike is starting in gears(with clutch depressed), but it refuses to start in neutral???"
Will go to SC to check the problem.
Does the BCU detect the bike is in neutral?
looks like I'm here only fortunate here touching 131....Originally posted by abhichotu.abhi View PostYes, Due to different road\atmospheric conditions the top speeds varies from place to place. It varies in my case (unfortunate hereOriginally posted by ceasar View PostNever checked,but i am pretty much sure it can crunch 110+ km after hitting reserve
)
once it was 50, then 94, then 40 and the fcuking last time it was 10
yaa the above figure also indicates that how many time I had to drag the bike to petrol pump.

That is a clutch switch problem, it'll be near the clutch lever.. even i had the same problem and the mechanic had replaced it under warranty..Originally posted by abhichotu.abhi View PostA new strange problem:

The method I try is, Fill 100rs petrol and set the trip meter to 0, then i ride the bike(assuming average of 50kmpl) upto 90kms and then follow the same method. This method has done wonders for me, now, i didnot have to push the bike to prtrol bunks.Originally posted by lockhrt999 View PostIt varies in my case (unfortunate here
