      Solution-

Change to better quality fuel station.
Use IFTEX fuel additive or else use ADDON additive available in Indian oil pumps.

And gun the engine to 8k rpm once in every fortnight.

And for solution at time of problem.

When you see valves sticking then open full throttle and crank with choke open.

After three to four cranks bike will start. Immediately close choke and keep throttle open 1/4 for 1 minute.

      A big thank to sibun,
Today i purchase 2 sachet of addon p (fuel additive) from indian oil pump and use it with approx eight liters of petrol. after few kilometers i noticed good pickup and comparatively low NVH level. bike can pull from low RPM. i feel a harder kick pedal to start my bike, previously my kick starts from half part.
I dont know how this 10 ml additive works, may be it cleans carbon deposit to some extent. but i am really impressed by this product. My 18 Rs is well spend

Sibun, i want to know is it cleans carburetor and valve gummy deposits if i use it regularly.

      Thanks.Click image for larger version

My solution is always practical and easy to follow. I am not textbook technician but practical technician.Continue using it each time you fill. Buy a larger bottle and keep it with you.I have been a user of Iftex system G for last 10 years. Always felt the difference after leaving use for two tank fills. Ya it cleans carbs and also valves and piston crown.

My xtreme has clocked 68200 kms. Got it serviced yesterday.

          1. Front forks were leaking although it was minor one. Purchased half liter of Kerosene and asked my Mech to wash all the internal parts. Replaced both the oil seals and filled 160 ml of Bosch fork oil in each fork. I'm using this oil for second consecutive time, and I must say that damping has again become like new and there is no oil leak.

          2. There was a continuous metallic noise coming from engine. Mech told that Timing chain has gone bad. Replaced that with Rolon. Now engine has no noise.

          3. Headlight beam was not bright. Even Osram Silver star 35/35 bulb was proving to be insufficient. Got the RR unit replaced with Swiss make RR. As soon as new RR unit was connected and Head light was switched ON for testing, the Bulb blew away
So, installed Philips 60/55 headlight bulb, and its working fine till now. Headlight beam has also improved although by a small margin.
Managed to click the Magnet coil of digital xtreme, when timing chain was being replaced. It's having 12 poles, and looking fine with no burnt winding.

          4. Front brake pad were about 80% gone. Bosch pads, which I always prefer were unavailable this time. Shopkeeper gave MK make pads, and they are having nice bite.

          5. Used Veedol 10w30 engine oil and changed the air filter as well. Old filter was nearly 10K kms old.

          6. I've replaced the spark plug with Bosch UR3CC this time. The tip of this plug is different from stock NGK. Although there is no problem with Bosch plug till now, should I continue using this plug or switch back to stock NGK?

                  Hi guys,

Was getting bad vibrations from the engine due to which the whole body was vibrating. Got the entire timing chain kit replaced with new one. The vibrations have reduced considerably but not completely. All the other parts are fine as checked by the mechanic. My bike has completed 58k till now. But I'm afraid it might be piston issue, please advise.

Hero website has been updated with Top Speed figures.
Interesting thing is that they mentioned top speed of 107kmph for hunk/xtreme and xtreme sports.

Curious mind wants to know in which basis they declare such kind of top speed.

yeea even i have the same doubt

The top speed is always higher than the claim that too tested with V box.

One of my friend who checked the new hunk with 1st service done, he reached 119KMph as top speed.

Account for 8-10% speedo error and you have those figures.

The 14.4PS old Hunk /Xtreme also had 107kmph top speed, right?
The new hUnk/Xtreme Sports with more power has the same top speed?

press and hold both the keys. , the time will start blinking, then upon pressing the bottom key (if not press the top one, don't remember exactly) the blink will shift from hours to minutes or vice versa. then using the top key u can change the time.
