Thanks for your inputs.
Here are my answers.
1. I have seldom seen any mechanic (of private work-shops) using a feeler gauge for adjusting tappets. Anyways, the actual problem was development of horizontal play in one of the rocker arm bearing. So, both of them were replaced with genuine ones and now the engine note has improved.
2. You must be remembering about my post in Help Me section. Actually, I was facing Engine Oil consumption issue when my total running reached 22 K, and finally I had to replace the complete cylinder kit to rectify this.
Boring was also an option, but I decided to go for new kit.
3. I do not ride clutch at all, but after replacing the clutch plates for the first time @ 20K, the mechanic did not provided any free play in the clutch lever and I believe this to be the culprit for early clutch plate failure.
Can you guide me how to determine whether clutch plates (Fiber ones) have gone bad by looking at them, because I am still having the old ones which were replaced recently and I think my mechanic had replaced them just for the sake of improving pickup.
4. As far as rear disc brakes are concerned, I never bothered to replace the brake fluid till 1.5 Years. Moreover, my mechanic was not comfortable with disc brake repairing (Old School), so he never touched them while servicing.
Finally, I had to consult another mechanic for addressing disc brake issue. I got the rear disc caliper serviced, and the brake fluid of Front brakes were also replaced. While discussing the same with my friends, I got to know that one of them has not replaced the disc brake fluid even once in 3 Years (Bike is Pulsar 180) !!!
It would be really helpful, if you can guide us about servicing our bikes, as it's really difficult to find a decent mechanic whose priority is getting the work done in best possible manner rather than looting customers

One more thing, please share the part no. of SKF Racer bearing for Xtreme.

. When I enquired , he said it was an widespread practice with parts like oils/fork oils
. I feel it's better to take assistance of a good mechanic to try replace front fork oil for the first time .
