Got new tyre for rear it's TVS Jumbo. Dry and loose tarmac grip is good as of now. Wet grip isn't tested yet(no rains here [emoji12]) one thing i can say is it is way better than stock zapper y. No fishtailing even if i brake hard handling also improved.

No stock size 100/90/18. It is little more wider than the stock zapper y and i was needed to remove the brake caliper to put the tyre

Finally a good news from my end
Many of the members know here that I have expressed my dissatisfaction regarding the Vibration of My Hero Hunk 2014.

Specially i disturbed @sibun bro so many times.

My bike has clocked 22,500kms till today. After 22000 kms all the vibrations are gone.

Now My bike is vibe free or at least now there are no noticeable vibrations. Here goes the details Vibration report:

0-4K RPM = Absolutely no vibration
4k - 5.5k RPM = Super smooth and no vibration. (previously medium vibration exist)
5.5 - 6.5k RPM = Ballistic acceleration starts with light vibration only at handlebar. (Previously Vibrations existed everywhere, and was impossible to ride at this rpm for a longer time)
6.5 - 8k RPM = Velvety smooth and aggressive acceleration, no vibration at all. (Previously smoother but light vibrations existed)
8k-9.5k RPM = Only foot pegs vibrate, everything else is smoother. (Previously whole body used to vibrate furiously and was very frustrating)

So overall right now I am very very satisfied with my bike since now I can tour with great satisfaction.
One thing that really helped was that i installed pulsar handlebar weights and that really helped vanishing all the handlebar vibrations.

Thanks to all the members of this forum who really helped me regarding this issue and told me to have patience specially @sibun brother.

Few more inputs from myside.
1.Get bike properly warmed up, ride in speed for 20-35 for some 3-4 kms & she will be fine all day. In case proper warm up not done, bike will feel harsh.
2. If you are riding on highway, get her close to top speed & them come down, you will feel almost NIL vibes as opposed to vibes we feel between 50 to 65-70.
3. As odo reads adds more kms, bike will become more smoother.
4. Get chain properly lubed for every 400-500 kms & cleaned, lubed at 2000 kms interval.
UPDATE on my ride.
Did overnight tour from MUMBAI -NASHIK (NH3). Ridden like maniac at 95-100-110 kmph . Touched 117 kmph with pillion (Combined weight=72 me+62 pillion+3 kg bags=137 kg) same spot where i touched 127 kmph on NH-3. Average 30 kmpl.. Due to winter bike was pulling crazily at insane speed.

Thanks for your feedback.
1. I always warm up my bike in the morning for atleast 2 mins but i feel atleast 4 mins of warmup does a better job, & since i rush for office so can not maintain 20-35kmph :P
2. I feel light vibration within 5.5k to 6.5k rpm only and yes doing high speed helps a lot.

4. I lube after every 100-150kms using gear oil overnight (i dont usually clean chain_dont have time. ok maybe after 5000kms)

How did you achieve 127kmph, i thought digital models will not give you more than 120kmph o:

Because Hero clutch kit was little costly around 2.1k and Honda's was for 1350/-. Also since it's Hero Honda CBZ, I thought using Honda clutch won't be a problem.

Update: The gears were hard for the first week but now they've got better comparatively. But changing the gear from 1st to Neutral is little hard, except this for this one, other gears are working fine.

I need your suggestions on one point though, the bike vibrates a little in the 50-60 kmph speed zone and is smooth after crossing this speed. What can I do to fix this issue, any thoughts?

Ok i was down with viral fever. So couldn't reply on time. Coming to your problem. Let me sort out point by point.

You said your complete engine was opened. So i don't know how it was fit back. So can't guarantee on that. Usually when i rebuild my engines i take great care while working.

But you said your bike was returning 58 kpl. So i assume it was correctly put together.

Now your problem started after recent job.

So do the following jobs:-

1. Change rocker arms- If the rockers arms are worn then after setting correctly, then also it will make noise.

2. Timing- I think this has been seriously messed up. To check open the timing covers on crankcase. Open spark plug hole. Open head cover. Now rotate crank anti-clockwise till the T mark matches with crankcase mark. Check the piston through spark plug hole. It should be at top. Check valves and it should be closed. If its open then its not at compression stroke. Rotate once again and align and check. If still same problem then messed up timing. To set correct timing set the T mark of magnet to match with crankcase mark. Both valves should be closed. and tappets loose. Piston should be at top. Now the timing sprocket mark should be parallel to the head surface and the dot mark should be towards the exhaust valve.

3. Check the tensioner. If it is loose the bike will lag in acceleration. No second thoughts.

4. Clean carb and re-tune by keeping at 1.9 turns.

5. Check spark plug. If timing was wrong then spark plug would be sorted.

[MENTION=29088]shar[/MENTION]iar- These engines open up as they pile on kilometers. Also extreme touches more speed than hunk. I have touched 122 on flat road in crouching position.

Hero clutch is worth the price hero uses fibre plates and honda has paper ones.

When my bike was 12000kms on odo it was viby & couldn`t do higher speed. But as i started doing high speed runs, bike became more smoother & also top end increase. There is particular patch of road on highway which is almost 1-2 kms long & good slope. Bike could have touched 130 kmph as well but was about to touch 10000 rpm so tool throttle off, also bike`s headlamp & meter went off automatically. Post that it dint started for 3-4 cranks. True speed of extreme is 115 kmph. Though we can have speed of 120 kmph if road is flat & every gear is pulled at redline.
P.S.: To attain high speed lot of factor involved.

Not a single change at all!!! not even the tires
Existing engine is far better when smoothness and quiet engine matters.

Never liked how noisy and vibey existing xtreme sports feels
Not to mention the acceleration is nothing like 15.8PS
