    I actually suggest you try the Pratham motors service center in Wakdewadi. They are good. A friend who also incidentally has a CBZ-X reports a 50+ consistent mileage since the last year.
    They actually have a different section altogether for Premium bikes (CBZX,Hunk, ZMA,ZMR)

    • Its really way far for me... but will definitely consider it. Anyway, I'v now gotten everything fixed under my nose. I'm hoping a carb setting will bring back my earlier efficiency figures. Hope those guys have a working remote sensing tacho?

        I have seen these guys working and they are good. The supervisors are strict with everything.
        Well, it is difficult for me too, but the last time did an extended night shift, came home around 6, didnt sleep. rode down at 7 am (they open that early) all the way from Viman nagar and then came back by bus (1 hour+ journey)...but was worth it.

        • Wow, that was some effort dude! You are lucky if they are decent. You should come and take a look at Automark Motors here. Half their equipment does not work and you should see the way they work... After my 1st service, I have decided not to use any of the other coupons. Not letting them rape my bike again. I still have to get the battery bracket replaced and the swingarm painted thru them, which was caused by the $%#@ leaky Amco battery. They have promised to do it soon.

          Btw, I got the upper part of the cylinder replaced under warranty too. The powder coating was peeling off. Anybody here facing a similar issue??

                • Of course! Any sign of peeling off... either of the paint or chrome plating or powder coating indicates manufacturing defects, for which you can demand a replacement.

                  Yes the upper part with the fins was replaced. The lower part has not peeled, nor the top (the cover without fins).

                  Initially, the workshop manager made a similar excuse - that it peels in all bikes, etc., etc so had to escalate the issue. All that means, is that HH's processes for coating the cylinder is defective. And indeed, it seems so - I checked out many HH bikes and found some to have the coating peeled off and some intact.

                  If yours is peeling, you can demand a replacement. If we accept things as they are, expect such shoddy quality to be labelled as expected phenomena.

                  FWIW, my Suzuki Shogun also has a black coated cylinder and it has survived intact all these years. No signs of peeling... or even fading!!

                  I am even demanding a replacement for acid corroded battery bracket. They told me they don't have stock and have ordered the part.

                              The price of engine cowl is around 700 bucks. It cannot be fit directly. You have to buy a set of clamps along with it which again cost about 50. Try to find a Karizma 223 and analyse how the cowl has been fit to the chassis. Note down the pattern and also the clamps which have been used. You do not have to go else where, all the clamps are available in the showroom. Just tell them want to fix the karizma 223 cowl and also ask for the set of clamps to hold it.You will have to find out a bike modifier in the town as the authorized guys will not do anything. You may need to forgo the stock leg guard but i have seen some people still using the stock guard along with the cowl. Moreover,, in order to fix, the modifier will have to do some small welding job .If you are fine with it proceed. The whole cost will take 800-900 bucks. Ask the showroom guys will it affect the warranty. Afaik it does not. My service center does not bother. But some might. It looks very good. I don't have a pic but the nearest possible estimation would be like;
