Now the thing is Water Jet : this is the easiest thing to clean the mud but its very worse for the bike. Why? Bcoz during washing the high force water enters into many inside parts like swing arm bearing, handle bar bearing, front and rear axel etc and hence these parts are service very rarely so you’re unaware but actually it starts rusting inside. As you know these are very low cost bikes and the protection inside is not very good, the gaskets, the dust cap, dust seals etc. So I strongly recommend you to stay away from water jet washing as much as possible. But you can do it once in one or two month, but it’s the fact. If you do so, then after washing take a 15min drive, due to air flow, heat and jerking the most water will dried out, but don’t expect that in monsoon season. Comparably try to wash less in monsoon season, whether it requires more at that time.
Best thing for bike wash is to clean it with a wet cloth. And if you have water tank at your roof then take a pipe and press the pipe’s head nozzle by finger and you will get speedy water out almost like jet. Wash with that. Also if very dirty then use any car shampoo or ordinary shampoo, mix with water, get a water sprayer ( which you can see at Saloon usually ) spray the whole bike with shampoo mix and let it sit for a few mins, the dirt will get loose and then wash.
For the mud what you can do is put a rubber mud guard at the front which looks like a rubber mat and hang at the leg guard, it may damage the look, but it very very useful at the monsoon. As much bigger the mat
I wash (yes, WASH) my bike almost thrice in a fortnight! Reason is that quite dug up roads at my locality and lots of dust.
But always make sure that no moisture has creeped into the vital parts. Using WD40 would help to remove moisture.2007 - Hero Honda CBZ Xtreme

Dude WD40 prevents corrosion bt it cant suck the water out, any way WASH your bike thrice in a fortnight, you will get the result after few years when you will get your swing arm servicing.Originally posted by riazmomin View PostI wash (yes, WASH) my bike almost thrice in a fortnight! surprisingly, its written on the can and I have been using it since some years and trust! And yeah, 4 year old passion dint had any corrosion considering the material used in it swing arm, leave alone Xtreme's swingarm. And it does not prevent corrosion!Originally posted by soumen.sam View PostDude WD40 prevents corrosion bt it cant suck the water out, any way WASH your bike thrice in a fortnight, you will get the result after few years when you will get your swing arm servicing.
i Suggest all to keep hold of WD40..its a multipurpuse thing.

Ok i turned the fuel screw anticlockwise 2.5 turn's and tested the CO it still show's as 1.13.So i turned it clockwise 1 turn and tested it again it was showing 1, no matter how much i turn the machine does not show a value higher than 1.2 when i asked the guy about this he said it has not been serviced for 4 yrs blah blah blah....i think this one is rigged
to show a low value. So i have no other choice but to go to the HH SC in kanchipuram (the worst SC on planet earth)... to get the co test done
.
I have that WD40 can but dont know where to use that thing

The stock one is best. But if you want to upgrade then put a 120/80 section tire but for this you will need to sacrifice ur chain cover. With a 110/90 tire you wont get any difference in performance. However what ever tire you put that wont give you better performance than the stock one. There have many ppl who shifted to wider tire but after a few time the came back to the stock one.Originally posted by on wheels View Postanybody has done any upgradation on rear tyre of HH Hunk or HH CBZ-X?
any advice?
the stock one is good but...... not so good. so I am planning for minor upgradation of the rear one.
Due to the wider tire the weight and the diameter of the tire increases, but we are still using the stock sprocket. 120/80 tire increase the height by 6mm and 110/90 tire increase the height by 9mm so there have a huge difference in diameter of the tire. So the load on the chain and engine increases and the chain & sprocket get damage shortly. Moreover due to the increase height the complete height of the bike will increase, the tire will hit the rear mudguard under full shock play. So finding a suitable performance tire is too tough.
And dude check your orkut scrap book.Last edited by soumen.sam; 04-05-2010, 03:27 PM.Speed is a joy but roads are not race track. Keep speed in your limit and always Drive safe...

Suggestions Needed
Hi guys, now my cbz is much smoother with the Castrol Power1. Thanks to everyone for useful suggestions.
I always wanted to get a more powerful beam from my headlight but didn't try much. Nowadays as i am driving about 20kms in the night & i need good illumination and horns on highway.
I don't want to make ANY type of changes to my stock headlight(like HID) EXCEPT the bulb. The stock one is Halonix 35w.
Please suggest any good bulbs in the in the range of 400bucks.
I have read that philips also has a good 35w bulb for 2wheelers. Please review and enlighten me.
I installed one more (low)horn with the stock and felt it was quite sufficient but on highways nobody seems to show respect.
Please suggest me good but simple horns(no wind/musical) Budget 700bucks.
