Its really not much of a bother. I ve had it touch once or twice with a pillion on badly laid Bangalore speed breakers.

I did not notice any other part of the bike catching rust till now (except for the place on the chassis where leg guard is mounted externally by me), i covered it with fabric color in the dry condition .. believe me it stays for long (long enough b4 i fall again).

i did notice the powder coat on my silencer near the engine come off like big patch when i removed the dirt there, I am expecting problems from there but rusting has still not started in that part (its over 1 month old), m taking it to the SVC soon.

n my bike avg is like ever dropping reached 30 (from 40 after 1st) after 4th service 9000kms... dunno what to do.
                  k... thanks for the tip...

and yes, the average is dropping like crazy... dunno wht the reason is... 45 till 1st service.. 40-ish before 2nd and sub40 nowadays

probably the riding speeds have increased , 50 upto 1st service , 80 upto 2nd service and 85+ nowadays ...

I heard that the yam service guys can't touch the carb for the 1st 6 months , hence can't really do anything about the avg , gotta live with it ... mine's steady so far , 42 upto 1st service , 45 now ...

Wonder how difficult or easy it is to use these dual horns onto an FZs, I hope it's a straight forward mod. The horn is rather weak for my liking on the FZs

Its steadily dropping from 41 to currently 36...and hardly ever touched
speed of 80...think i gotta personally tinker with the bike....

i don't think so as there is only one mounting plate attached in FZ there must be another mounting plate and i think the air deflector thing will go straight on
