The stock reflector will be damaged since 55W lamp will generate more heat. Its better to ask an expert about this.

      • Problem with the Lock bolt

        Hi Guys,

I guess this is nothing new.. The handlebar lock of my FZ is loose and now it looks that it has gone down healthy 1 cm inside from where it was earlier.. when i rotate the key, i can sense it is moving.. I guess there is a bolt that is inserted from underneath that has gone loose.. i took my bike to normal service station, but they didnot had a proper L key to tight that bolt. Any idea guys how can i fix this? I can only go to Yamaha Service station on saturday... not sure if everything wud be fine till then tho!

        Plz help.

Use a cotton cloth... not sure why u are using Paper for cleaning tho..
u can go for a polish (however that is nt required in case ur bike is fairly new).. browse this thread to know the polish that can be best.

well to be honest, i ve never seen this happening..
If a cotton clothe is causing scratches, not sure what material will not..

but are u sure that its the cotton clothe only that is giving you trouble? in case its too dirty, i can understand it to be a cause.. anyways, still strange..

and i dn think u need to worry bout water spots too much.. bikes are bound to get wet, and dirty and muddy...

Will it not hurt the pillion . I got it fit on the saari gaurd.

                          +1 @ avneetrekhi20

@ Malik: About scratches check out for some naughty kids around your bike , BTW I am using cotton cloth to wipe off water and a soft cloth (orange color usually sells on all traffic signals) for shine.

i use thick very thick cycle lock the number one, got it from some superstore. Easy to use no tension of keys and tough to break, give this plastic one a strong twist it will come off. The cable one i use is also easy to carry.

cycle lock creates problem while riding
it create some scratches while riding so we have to carry it in a bag.
