im planing on changing my FZSs horn and i checked Windtone Super of ROOTS today..costs 600RS.
anyway it comes as a pair and i was wondering where shall i mount it!!??its slightly bigger than the stock ones too.
btw any idea if YAMAHA SC will fix the horn for me?

I already started one..but MOD merged it with Ownership experiences of FZ-16..

Yeah I know that mirror only ENHANCES the look of the bike..and trust me they are very functional..but when I got this bike the mirror was out of stock (which I found very strange) but had no option..will be getting it in day or two..

I agree dude..You won't believe that while I am on the road..people for sure notice this bike with full glare..somehow me enjoying the adulation..

can u confirm that fazer has 2 horns or a louder one ,
also it seems its pickup is reduced compared to fz16 due to heavy front fairing(6 kgs)
i think blue was the best color. it seems fz16 is also going to come with same blue in few months

Yeah Fazer has DUAL HORN...and they serve the purpose SUCCESSFULLY....
I am not aware about FZ pickup...but yeah I can feel that with FAzer don't expect a zapping pickup..Pickup is something which is a bit on lower side..I don't know how to deal with it..may be my riding style is also going under change..so waiting for first service..

Blue was also on my shortlist but I found that blue looks more appealing in pics only..in flesh its black which will steal your heart (at least with Fazer)..

Guys..any comment on the pickup part..I am not aware of complete performance of this FZ series..in case if genuinely pickup is on lower side..then what's the option to boost it...

Another thing which I would like to add-on is..the campaign which these Yamaha ppl did for FAzer for TOURING spirit..now I feel that it was to portray the comfort of the bike..I know people are bashing that how a 150cc can be a tourer..but when you take this bike on a spin then you will feel that overall posture and the feel is very relaxing..to be precise I felt like giving it a term like SPORTY-Cruiser..I haven't gone beyond 4.5k-5k RPM..but felt many times that this bike is best when it starts it journey beyond speed of 55....still carving to write a more detailed review..but it would be injustice to the bike..since its still in the running period..till then..njoy

Well Rahul, to be honest ; as far as FZ is concerned, i think it has got best pick up in its segment for sure..its the initial torque only that actually differentiates FZ with Rest. Nt sure why u are observing otherwise... which bike were u riding b4 this one bdw.. In case its Karizma/any oder big bike, ur bound to feel the difference.. however i feel u'll get use to this, and perhaps in nxt review may post something encouraging.
nd plz dnt take ur bike over 4.5k till first service..i kno its hard to resist..but its good for engine if u keep it down....
