Y dn you do 1 thing... I am sure every big city has a MRF Main Office where there are specific engineers who take care of after sales complaints and issues. If possible, speak to one of them, or any of the managers... i am sure they will be able to tell u where exactly u can have a mushroom puncture done.Originally posted by Mindgrinder View Postwhere is a proper MRF place (not that crappy MRF exclusive naveen tyres) in Bangalore to get a mushroom puncture fix? better if near koramangala.
To be honest, mushroom puncture repiar MUST be available with every MRF service/sales station..if no 1 is able to help u ..try this no..04428292777...speak with 2 wheeler tubeless tyre complaints department..and narrate the incidednt..they will surely help u...let me know what they say and if this is resolved or not..SAVE TIME....SEE IT MY WAY

i spoke to Mr. Abraham he gave me number of Paul at Bangalore MRF, the great news is as per Paul "There is NO dealer in bangalore which carries mushroom patch fix" also he stated stem is temporary it will come out in sometime, permanent is mushroom patch, even telling this he agreed that no one in Bangalore does mushroom fix. I am going to call him again tomorrow to know.Originally posted by avneetrekhi20 View PostY dn you do 1 thing... I wrote a mail to Abraham 2 weeks ago, he told me he is inquiring about that matter too.
Edit:
Paul just called there is only one dealer on J.C. Road that does a mushroom fix, if the cut in tire is more than 2 inch diameter it cannot be fixed! so i am going to the dealer on this Thursday or Friday. Details of dealer on the link below:

Nice Work man! Really appreciate your initiative to bring this into notice of Mr Abrahim. I am sure he MUST be working on this and will come up with the solution. Can you please email Mr Abrahim as well and tell him the response you are getting. This will actually help him to go deep into this matter. I am Shocked to hear that in a prime city such as Bangalore, we couldnt fing any one who does a Mushroom puncture and to be honest Both Yamaha as well as MRF are equally responsible. Does the user manual that we use provide any details regarding this? The anser is NO. and not only this, i am very sure that even Yamaha guys are not even aware of whats happening.. U start speakn about Mushroom puncture and all they know is that that sort of fix is only done on sports bikes and selected cars... They are more than just ignorantOriginally posted by Mindgrinder View Posti spoke to Mr. I am sure that puncture in ur bike is just a normal puncture (2-3 mm in diameter).. and this can very easily be repaired by a Mushroom fix (provided you find 1 in Bangalore).
Good to hear that u ve atleast find 1 place where u can fix ur puncture permanently. I ve suffered a lot from this guys and cannot tell u how bad it feels when ur touring with ur GF on ghats and suddenly realize that air pressure is 15psi.
Let me know if i can do anything. ThxSAVE TIME....SEE IT MY WAY

guys after getting rid of gladiator, im on my amazing new fz16. but im experiencing a problem with d gear shift. more than 90% gearshifts makes tak-tak noise. most of the time bike refuses to go from 1st to 2nd gear n stuck at neutral. this is so annoying. i showed bike twice at yamaha showroom but they says, its juz fine. i had splendor(3yrs), p150dtsi(3yrs), gladiator(1yr). i never faced such issue in any bike.
(running is only 280kms, 20 days, 1st servicing is still pending)

Cant c any major problem here... Give the throttle a ltl twist while stepping down or increasing gear. For eg when ur trying to drop a gear, just for a moment give a tap to the throttle (reduce throttle) and simultaneosly change gear.. same is vice versa as well...This works for all Yamaha bikes... should work for u as well.Originally posted by nick192 View Postguys after getting rid of gladiator, im on my amazing new fz16. but im experiencing a problem with d gear shift. more than 90% gearshifts makes tak-tak noise. most of the time bike refuses to go from 1st to 2nd gear n stuck at neutral. this is so annoying. i showed bike twice at yamaha showroom but they says, its juz fine. i had splendor(3yrs), p150dtsi(3yrs), gladiator(1yr). i never faced such issue in any bike.
