Same here! Same thing happend to me, 2 weeks back. I was using Motul fully-synt oil for about 6000kms. And when i have it for the last service, i forgot to mention not to change the oil. They used mineral. And i have read somewhere, that if you dont flush out your engine before you change the oil to a different kind, it becomes really viscous and adversly affects the bike's perforrmance. And thats what is exactly happening to my bike. Now its got horrible pick-up and the gears are really stiff. What can i do?!Originally posted by RanjithMN View Postok great!i got my FZ back frm the 3rd service frm PSN Cochin and they forgot to chng it to the MOTUL semi synth i gave!!!!they put the normal mineral 20w40!

every 400km -500km,actually depending on the environment you are driving in,you HAVE to clean and lube it!
in rainy season lube it every 200kms or so...It's not what you ride, it's your attitude that counts.

If you are sure that it's the old/new oil mix that's causing the problem, then drain out the oil when the engine is hot and replace the oil filter. Then refill with the oil of your choice.Originally posted by lonely_biker View PostSame here! Same thing happend to me, 2 weeks back. I was using Motul fully-synt oil for about 6000kms. After having fully-synth you wont accept regular!
And btw castrol power1 is useless. It has no major difference.
