Complete newbie here. How do you guys confirm a puncture? I went for a 300 kms ride yesterday starting with a tire pressure of 33 in the rear tire ... however when i returned i went back to the same petrol pump and it showed the tire pressure as 27-28. how do i confirm that this is normal due to a ride or is it a puncture? i can't visibly see anything piercing the tire..
First of all clean the tyre and look for spots if you doubt any spots spray water
if possible spray soap water it will be better if air is leaking the the bubbles will start bursting check the same point many times don't confirm just by seeing a bubble break
I suppose the decrease in air pressure is because of the 300km ride
for a final check go fill correct pressure and then check the next day

        EDIT:

Normally I dont put replies to posts like such - but, I am in much respect of this bike - since quite some time - and, this is sincerely what I feel:

        To,
TheGuy looking for advice on "stunting":

        Dude, my 2 paisa -
you have got a bike reliable like solid ground! - no doubts
"Stunting" on it - well - taking the risk of getting into some trouble (for yourself as well as the bike).
        Its your call!

My take - Take care of the bike maturely - and the bike will always keep its rubber side down, and sunny side up!

        Again -Your call!

        Peace,

        Ace.

Hey man even I had been caught by the stunting bug..but grew out of it after my friend had a fall on his bike

To do a wheelie from standstill put the bike in 1st gear and rev it till 7k rpm and release the clutch..but be careful its not so easy to control the bike..

yes every speedo has error in it.....

the fz's speedo is showing speeds in excess of 110+ at that time the actual speed is somewhere around 100kmph....

so because of this there is error in measuring distance as well....

can an fz's electrical system support a 55W HID??

you mean when riding at 10kmph it shows 110 on the display

i don't know about the HID

so the total distance traveled on the trip meter adds up with the speedometer error
so if we are traveling at 60kmph on speedo actually we are traveling at about55
